Few non-purple items stay out on top of my kitchen - this is one of them.Turns potatos into hash browns or fries in seconds. Slices both cucumber and tomatoes wonderfully. Quick rinse under hot water with a dash of soap, and air dry. Should last generations...

A rugged slicer
This thing is the best. This is my second mandolin slicer and this one is by far the most durable and easiest to clean.
