Something no one talks much about, except in jokes about old people
I've had this problem since college. I've tried everything, and without much success. Recently, I'd taken to ripping all my nose hairs out with tweezers, which works but can hurt and can cause ingrown hairs and other nasal irritations. I also was paying the salon lady down the street to wax my ears-- always a bloody, painful, and expensive proposition but it made me look like less of an old man. I think that was what prompted me to look into recent technology improvements in "my problem." I'm glad I did. I've had this thing for about 6 weeks, and it's still doing the job. I've replaced the batteries twice, which should tell you how bad the forest is in my cranial orifices. Even if it crapped out tomorrow, I'd buy another one and be thrilled about it. It has a real blade (2, actually) with a screen to protect you from yourself. This paragraph is for realists who have the same problem. Not for squeamish people who just came here for the comedy. Here's how it works: I just shove it up my nose, and hear the grinding of the nasty nose hairs. I move it around until I can't hear it anymore. Sometimes I push my nose onto the device, but not too hard because you can push your skin into the blade. The manufacturer will tell you not to do this, but the worst that could happen is a bit of a cut. You learn quickly what you can get away with.It also works great on the rim of the ear-- the part I used to wax. It will trim the stuff that grows out of the ear canal, but I still use tweezers for the stuff in there. Also dangerous-- all lawyers and snowflakes please ignore this part. And yeah, I bought my tweezers on Amazon too, and they're great. The brand is "Tweezerman."We've all seen professional people who have this problem and ignore it. Stray eyebrows, ear and nose hairs are distracting and annoying. Gross, perhaps, too. If they are your good friend, why not do them a favor and get them this device for Christmas? Or for a "I just called to say I love you, but I hate your nose hairs!" gift.

This product is good but the one thing I don't like is how when your trimming your hair it doesn't feel smooth, it feels like it's scratching me and i don't like that. I have another hair trimmer but it's a bigger one and it feels way smoother and clean cut compared to this one but the reason why I rated it 4 stars is that it does trim my hair way shorter then the other one I have. The other trimmer I have would leave like tiny hairs like if you were to run your hand down your chin you can feel tiny hairs but this one it actually cuts off all the hairs and can't feel anything. I guess that's why it could be the reason why it scratches my skin cause the blades or more sticking out maybe, I'm not sure but i like how it's cutting more hair off. Other thing I hate is that it's not rechargeable and requires a battery, would like it way better if I could recharge it instead of replacing the battery all the time. i like the sleek design though and the fact that it's really slim and small makes it very compact and easy to put away. Overall I like the product.

What a cheap piece of junk! It has very poor power compared to my previous Panasonic, which fell apart after 6 months (due to poor engineering and cheap parts.) This Fortas Trimmer pinched my nostril hairs as it trimmed them. Ouch! And then...it fell apart and broke after one month!! Another piece of Chinese crap pedaled here on Amazon. Boo! On to the next Trimmer...

Solid, Great Handling Trimmer
Unfortunately as I get older, things change. I don't recover as well as I used to and at times hair grows places that I would not normally like it to grow!So in order to combat this, I decided to look into products that might help the ear/nose hair that grows occasionally where I was not expecting it. I used to have one but it was big and bulky. I wanted something smaller, lighter and easier on my hand. The Fortas trimmer came up in my searches and I decided to give it a try. And I am very glad that I did!It fits VERY well in my hand and I can switch out the attachments easily This allows me to also manage my sideburns easily and quickly which my wife completely appreciates! When my wife gives me a haircut, we use this also to make sure the area around my ears is cut effectively which is a bit more difficult with scissors.Cleaning this product is very easy. A brush is enclosed and it is helpful to make sure you get the best cut every time.It takes one AA battery which is easy to pop in and change when you need to.I would not change a thing about this product! This is how I rate/review my products:5 stars – I love it! I highly recommend to everyone without reservation!4 stars – I like it, but there are some flaws. I would probably purchase it again.3 stars - It was okay, but I would probably not buy it again.2 stars – There may be worse products out there, but you can definitely find better choices.1 star – I dislike the product, I wish I had not purchased it and I don’t recommend it.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you make an informed decision about buying this product. Decent quality, nice looks.
This nose and hair trimmer does the job. Although I do have a few complaints. The tip of the nose trimmer is shorter than the previous one that I was using which makes it impossible to get those stubborn hairs deep inside your nose. I wish they would have made it longer. It feels like my nose hairs are being plucked out at times when using it. Not a big fan of that! I do like the grip and the aesthetic looks of the nose trimmer. Easy to hold and looks nice. The hair trimmer does what any other hair trimmer does. You'll need a AA battery for this trimmer. Not sure how long the battery will last though. This Fortas nose and hair trimmer isn't bad, but it also isn't the best I've tried. Good for the price.
