Renegades: An incredible collaboration between a former US President and a music icon, celebrating life, music, and the American dream

I have loved both of these two since I first saw them, role models for men in general and American men in particular. Theoretically, I was going to dip into this book but I found myself unable to put it down. Each is so talented in his own field and I love how they have come together. As I read, I can hear each voice, a wonderful counterpoint to all the rubbish going on in the USA and around the world. The photos, the glimpse of how each got where they now are, just good stuff. I have read each’s autobiography, so much of the thinking is not new to me but I love how they interact. A treat for fans/admirers of either or both men. This book will get dipped into over and over again.

This book was so refreshing to read, it was like being in the room with Obama and Springsteen. Full of great pictures and lyrics. You don’t have to be a fan to enjoy these honest conversations from the heart. Brilliant. Must read.

Ideal for fans of The Boss.

I don't think there is anything "new" in this book, but it is "all in one place" and is a wonderful picture of the two men showing their outlook on life and what shaped it. It is Honest. The two discuss their differences, but more often the similarities caused by very different upbringing.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas and it was a great present. Lots of great stories, and lots of great imagery.

Two of America's greatest men, who are in their own ways the epitome of the American dream, discuss how far too many of their fellow countrymen cannot attain their dreams.Aside from a book that may become a historic publication in its own right there are wonderful previously unpublished photos and the book itself is gorgeously presented. It really is very good value for a "coffee table" book.

Bougth as 'used' for less than 1/3 of the cover price I have received a book in perfect conditions, like it's brand new from the book shop, no sign of usage no missing pages, perfect.The book is well written in a plain language and the reading goes smooth from the beginning to the end. I have really enjoyed reading it, and the size is bigger then I expected, it's nice to see it in the library.Hope this review helps.
