My dog was very ill with weight loss and bad gas. The vet did a blood test which showed a folate deficiency, indicative of dysbiosis causing malabsorption in the small intestine. She prescribed a probiotic, Proviable Forte, but my dog kept getting worse. I was leery about the PREbiotics in that formula as I had read they can often encourage not only the growth of good bacteria, but of bad bacteria too. So I stopped giving her the Proviable. I wish I could say that this worked for our three dogs, but it caused some pretty severe issues. I have had our dogs on another probiotic/digestive enzyme blend for about a year and they seemed to be doing just okay on it, not great, but okay. After reading the reviews I decided to give this a try and it was a huge mistake. After taking this product for two weeks our one dog had belly noises like fireworks were going off in it!! For hours, along with looses stools and runny diarrhea. We took her to the vet and all checked out well..this went on for a few days with me continuing to give her less than 1/3 scoop (trying to work our way up to a full scoop as directed). Then our other dog began to have the same issues! It was then I connected the dots and took all of them off of this product and we now have all dogs happy and eating regular once again. I will be going back to our other product for now. And I'm sorry to say that I've missed the return date for a refund...so my loss. I'm glad it's working out well for others, just not for my dogs.

It gave my dog stomach and gas issues. I was worried there was something wrong with him until I read someone's else review that their dog also experienced the same thing. This made him also go poop a lot. I would not recommend it.
