Staedtler Ergosoft Watercolor Pencil Set

They work well with my Holbein watercolors. I still avoid using them except for details. The only problem with them was on me! I tend to be heavy-handed with them, but there is enough pigment that a gentle touch here and there is really all I need.

Vibrant colours and easy on the hands. I had to do a colouring book for an Anatomy & Physiology course I did and thank goodness I got quality pencil crayons instead of the cheap school supply brand. These were so much more comfortable to use, I didn't have to press hard to get good colour, there was enough array of colours (color in the US), and the box stood up to being transported all over the place. I have no complaints :)

Staedtler products are always reliable. Before I visited my great grandchildren in Colorado I sent them coloring books and sets Staedtler watercolor pencils.They had great fun with them.Although I could have saved money sending inferior pencils, as a professional artist I know how frustrating it is to use anything but the best.

This set from Staedtler has a wonderful variation of colors and they are perfect for drawing or coloring. The pencils are strong with a special core in the center surrounding each color so that they do not break. They also last a long time and will sharpen to a very fine point. The case is very convenient as well. I highly recommend these - they are the only ones I will buy. (& I will buy again.)

Package arrived with Colored pencil package already ripped open and only 11 of the 24 pencils were enclosed. I would not recommend Mustang Fliers.
