Optistar (tm) Fiber optic keystone LC couplers allows the quick, easy and seemless connection of singlemode duplex terminated LC Fiber cable at a low price point. This connection can be over one mile long, and enables the home or business owner to run single mode Fiber in the walls, between buildings, (in ducts) along driveways (in ducts) or along fence lines over longer distances than category 5, 6, or 7 cable with no electrical interference or comparable loss of performance. The keystone format then allows the Fiber to be available from wall plates, or patch panels for easy connection to media converters or other device featuring a duplex LC connector (on simplex LC connection, allowing 2 devices to be operating for the same Fiber cable (one for HDMI, and one for Data).
