Great Performance with Excellent Battery life for normal usage
Talking aboutClean , professional , modern and aesthetic look.It doesn't look like a gaming laptop but the hardware inside it is a beast. If you are willing to buy this laptop just go for 3060 modelAs it has got much more better air cooling and very less expected flex in the screen but there is no flex found in the keyboard.1. Its build quality, it's great not the top notch but gives a premium look and feels great and And doesn't feel a cheap quality plastic.2. Looking at its display, you can immediately figure it out it's way much more brighter and vibrant in colours and ofcourse there is 144fps panel with 8bits color.3. Its performance is top notch regardless it's being a RTX 3060 with 95W tgp.So far the games have been tested,GTA V >95fps at Ultra SettingsStar Wars fallen Jedi order >78fps at Epic SettingsJust Cause 3 >120fps at Max settingsAC Unity >90 fps at Max settingsFortnite >150fps at Epic Settings DLSS onHP Victus thermal system and cooling system are way more better then I expectedThe max temperature goes to 85° to 90°When the Games are at running at max settingRecommands to play while chargingEven after reaching a certain temperature, the fans become louder of course there is a fan control systemOmen Command Center to Control Fan Cooling. When when heavy tasks are completed the temperatures of system are brought down and wave more faster and total system cools down in just less than a minute4. It has got 2 watt speaker on each sideAnd sound is always clear and louder5. The back lights of the keys are fixed at certain brightness and cannot be changed but it doesn't regard it's the perfect brightness which could you hope for even in the daylight and night time they are way more bright comfortable Depends upon the Perspective of the user.6. CPU usages are always low and support every heavy task assigned.7. Atleast 1TB of ssd was required, there always a option for external one.

An absolute beast !! You cant ask for better specs at this price point !
HP has nailed this segment with this laptop. The specs they are offering at this price point (especially with RTX 3060 graphic card) beats the likes of Dells and Asus by almost 30-40k which is a huge amount. Bought this one for a net amount of 98k (post all discounts/cashback). A Dell with same specs (ALIENWARE M15 RYZEN EDITION R5 GAMING LAPTOP) costs about Rs 1.5 Lacs and Asus with same specs costs north of 1.25 Lacs so you cannot ask for a better price for these specs. Period. Now coming to the details :1. Display : 7/10 : This is probably the only sore point of this laptop. An average display with a certain yellowish tinch. I tried my best to calibrate the colors and it became much towards neutral but still somewhat yellowish. Refresh rate is as stated i.e. 144hz but still not at all impressed with the display. Windows 10 did have some yellow screen issues but that is not the issue here. Atleast not with the piece I received. Ordered a replacement and found out exact same kind of display. So, no doubts on it being a defect but given its a 1L laptop, it could have been much better. Only plus point - 300 nits brightness which is far better than others commercial laptops.2. RAM : 8/10 : It uses 8gb ram in two slots so a total of 16gb (2x8gb). So, in case if you want to upgrade it to 32 gb, you will need to purchase 2 new Ram sticks and would need to sacrifice the current 8gb ones. A thumbs down here. Would have been much better if it was 16gb in one slot that ways we could have purchased an additional 16gb same spec Ram. But that is not the case here. So again a little disappointed.3. Graphics Card : 10/10 : Now this is the only thing I bought this PC for - Rtx 3060 graphic card and probably the highlight of this laptop. There is a cheaper version available with RTX 3050Ti graphic card as well with a price difference of almost 15k but considering you would be keeping this laptop for atleast 3-5 years, I found it worth spending extra amount for this graphic card which is almost 50% extra in performance as well as Vram (6gb) as compared to the 4gb one. To start with, installed Witcher 3 and tried playing it. The performance was ultra smooth even on high settings so full marks on the graphic card.4. Processor and OS : 10/10 : Ryzen 7 5800H is probably the best you can get and it certainly is. Booting along with all software launches are super quick so no complaints here. Windows 10 comes preloaded and MS office is provided with lifetime access. You need to register for it.5. Memory : 8/10 : It states 512 gb but the pc shows only 476gb out of which only 428 gb is available for use. Though it has an additional slot for memory expansion, still considering a laptop for 1L range, the memory should have been 1TB to say the least. Being SSD is advantageous as it takes only a few seconds to boot up (8-10 to be precise). Fast bootup is another point I superliked.6. Keyboard : 8/10 : Quite good. But PgUp and PgDown keys are missing which is why deducted 2 marks for it. (Since I use excel heavily and these 2 keys are needed along with arrows keys). Also, it is not tiresome to use unlike some of the past HP keyboards. I have been using Dell i7 for the last 4 years and i thought the Dell keyboard was the one to beat but HP has done a very nice job here and keys are certainly placed right to give you a smooth experience. Also, the design layout of the keyboard is little different from the regular HP ones so you may face a challenge in looking for its Silicone Keyboard cover/protector.7. Touchpad : 9/10 : Again one of the smoothest touch pad i have seen in recent laptops. Clicks are smooth. Size is quite big. Anyways I would be using a gaming mouse so not much to comment here.8. Body : 7/10 : This is where they have done an average job. Pretty average plastic body. They could have improved here. And yes - "There is NO screen wobbling issue. It wobbles very slightly considering it is very big in size but that is pretty much ok and it is not to the extent as mentioned in some of the other reviews on net. Actual wobbling is when the screen is loose on the hinges. But this one is definitely not. So you can relax on that part. Also, Considering you would not be dancing around with the laptop, so this should be ok. Rest of the body feels a little weak/thin given it is all plastic. Heat Management is super fantastic. (Atleast for the time being - till the thermal paste dries out in a few years so lets see). You can manually control fan speed through HP Omen hub. Used it for a couple of heavy gaming sessions but did not find any heating issues as such. Apart from that, they mentioned the Color would be Mica Silver (silver definitely looks premium as compared to boring black/grey laptops) but I was somewhat disappointed to see Blackish Grey colored laptop. Anyways, it is what they are using for Ryzen Series in India so be it.9. Battery : 5/10 : Again a very sore point. On paper it looks awesome but in practicality it is quite poor. Good thing I liked - While most laptops have a battery low indicator, they miss out on battery full indicator. This is where I liked what HP has provided - A battery full indicator (which turns to white when fully charged). But the battery backup itself is pretty poor. It takes full 2 hrs to fully charge it from 8% to 100% and then Battery lasts only 2.5 hrs in 100% performance mode with brightest display and graphic card working. So a big thumbs down here. They have provided a 200w adapter with this which is quite bulky.Overall, if you look at the specs, you cannot get anything better than this at this price point atleast. But considering there are a few more laptops in the Victus series which they have placed starting at 50K; that might be the reason I feel HP compromised with Body and Battery. If you are looking at this for moderate (or even a little heavy for that purpose) gaming along with regular Office work, it actually might be a very good choice.Final Disclaimer : Amazon delivery person had opened the outer packing Amazon box and the laptop was delivered in the HP box. Though the HP box was sealed and that was the reason I accepted the package but removing the outer box is completely unacceptable. I notified Amazon about this to which they said that I should not have accepted the delivery. Anyways would request Amazon to definitely take a note of it and improve their delivery services.

Best Bargain Ever!
The media could not be loaded. Best Bargain Ever for this configuration. The first look and first hand-on looks awesome. Will update this comment on the go while using. For those who doubt if it is 144hz. *Yes it is!* (See attached images)Pros:- Unmatched config for this price.- Fantastic heat management- Minimal fan noise- Boot time on fully loaded machine - 3s- Battery - 3hrs 10mins - Watching movie in Amazon - 1hr 50mins on intensive gaming- Display - Decent quality IPS for this price range - and Yes, It has 144hz refresh rate - Smooth gaming- Charging - From 30% to 100% in 1hr 40mins- Gaming - (Kerbal Space Program) Smooth 144FPS, No heating issues even after 6 hrs of continues gaming- Rendering - Blender BMW 27 scene rendered in 24seconds with Optics/GPU configuration.Cons:- Feels cheap by plastic- Screen panel wobbling- Display is little disappointing (Full HD, 300nits and 137 ppi) - HP could have done better, should have gone with WUXGA, 400nits with at least 166PPI like their Envy lineupOverall, you will definitely enjoy the performance of this beast. Compromising the plastic build (No need to worry unless you are going to use for marketing profession) and display quality ( no problem for those who attach external monitor)
