While I am very happy with the Mead product (as always with Mead), I am disappointed that the covers are not the ones shown in the listing. I decided to buy these specifically for the covers/colors that were shown and that's not what I received. In reading the other reviews it appears that this is a frequent issue. If I had thought to read the reviews before I bought the notebooks, I might have made a different selection.

I thought I was getting all 3 different notebooks but I got 3 of the same ones. Kind of disappointing.

This set really was an amazing buy. They have done me and my family very well and we will be ordering more. The front of the notebooks are really nice sturdy materials and they come with pockets in them which I didn't expect.

Ordered these hoping against hope that if I didn’t get 3 different designs, that the repeats would at least be the FIRST ombré design shown… but no lol. Alas, got 3 of the least pretty in my opinion. But, they came in great condition, not bent or stained or anything like that, so they are perfect notebooks. This just makes me want to start designing my own notebooks with watercolor. Trouble is, it’s not easy finding that kind of notebook business that makes them with good paper. I think I’ll give it a try anyway. Thanks for inspiring me! Because Mead should just give the people what they want, but they don’t.

These books so pretty and colorful just what I was looking for

The notebooks were great but I was very disappointed that they were all the same! I ordered this set for the variety for a reason. Disappointed.

I bought 2 sets for my daughter and they were all of the same style. Product picture is very misleading.

I paid $30 for these which amounts to $10 a notebook because the cover design caught my eye even though you can get a regular cover one for about $6 at any wal-mart store. I imagined since the price was what it was that they used the thicker version of their five star paper that has the stars and logo on the bottom that you can buy as refills for your binder but no it’s just their cheap version that comes in any cheap five star notebook you can pick up anywhere. Pretty disappointed about that since the covers are such a great design I’ll still be using them for the purpose I had in mind but Five stars suppose to be the best out there and well this product isn’t the best.
