Martin's Chocolatier Chocolate Ballotin 200g | Pistachio Marzipan | Handmade Chocolate Gift Box

It's a small box and not cheep but definitely worth trying if you love marzipan without a strong, bitter almond taste. These pistachio marzipan chocolates have a very sweet flavour with the white chocolate but are deliciously mild and creamy with a smooth texture. They melt on the palate.I was a little disappointed to see they are not made in the UK but they certainly have a real hand made choclatier taste and look to them. The lack of nasty additives and unnecessary ingredients are there to enjoy. Definitely not your average, mass produced chocolate so worth a little extra. Not sure they are worth the full price but I bought on offer so very happy.16 chocolates solidly packed in 2 layers, plus a little packing on the top of the layers to keep everything in place as no trays.

Expensive. The marzipan was dryish and tasteless with a chocolate covering that cracked and fell off. The truffles were good and moreish.

For people who like pistachio and marzipan, this combination is a match made in heaven. Cute little boxes look tasteful and the overall feeling is handcrafted sophistication.

Really yummy. I love marzipan - and these are excellent quality.Maybe the pistachio flavour is not too strong - but I thought they were perfect.

Bought these Pistachio Marzipan with white chocolate as a gift for my wife. She absolutly loved them and has asked me to get more. Unfortunatly they are not now available. Martin's Chocolatier please note.

What a shame but the chocolate taste no better than cooking chocolate, it was so disappointing.I bought 2 boxes, 1 to give away when we went to a family member’s home but they are just too horrible to give as a gift and I’d be to embarrassed.The box did look pretty but the contents is a definite no for me

A luxurious taste of salted caramel chocolate but it didn’t stand out from other similar products I’ve had.
