Not a thriller...or mystery
I’m giving it two stars simply because the writing was very well done. However, this book is classified as a mystery/psychological thriller, which it is not. There is no mystery....you know who committed the crime and what happens just by reading the cover. And there is no “thriller” portion. This is a series of short stories of how different characters were impacted by the crime and how their lives went on. It is a glimpse into post-crime lives and how many people can be impacted. But it’s not a thriller or mystery at all. I was very disappointed..and was NOT given a free download for a review. I really feel like it was a waste of money.

Eh!
Pretty good writing style. I enjoyed that all of the characters were connected, but felt like I needed some sort of map to organize who was who. By the time I got to the end, I was frustrated and disappointed. I learned who committed the crime right away...I kept thinking that there would be a twist, since it was supposed to be a mystery/thriller, but it never came. A bit frustrating to have spent all that money for a hardcover book, only have to have it be lackluster! It had the potential to be so much more than it was. Maybe there will be a follow up, of some sort. Certainly nothing like Gone Girl.

Needlessly Vulgar
I was very excited about this book but ended up disappointed.Sex/references to sex are used a too much (and honestly they weren’t even necessary to begin with) and referred to too crudely for me. The amount of times the F word was used needlessly became distracting.

Don't waste your $$
I kept waiting for a twist that never occurred. The only thing positive I could say, is it was a quick read.

Thought provoking
It was a very unusual book. One story, told from the perspective of several people involved in one way or another. Hard to put down
