More pirates, please!
Cassandra has been captured and taken to the King. There in the dungeons, she discovers prisoners, people she had hoped to never see again. All she had ever wanted was for them to be safe and live a happy life once they no longer had to hide her. Now she has brought them to their end. She's without her pirates, she must survive the evil king's plans, and try to save everyone else. It seems impossible but Cassandra has a strong will. She is fueled by her desire to get back to her pirates. Her pirates haven't forgotten their girl either. They have a plan to save her. Secrets will be revealed; Cassandra will feel betrayed but they don't care if she's angry as long it keeps her alive. And she has the Sea God whispering in her ear. He wants to make a deal. He can help her but what will the price be? Does she have a choice? If what he says is true, there is no future if she doesn't take his deal. The sea will die and the earth will follow.I loved the first book in this series and eagerly awaited this one. I admit I am a little disappointed with this book. It's not that the story isn't good; it is. This is a necessary follow-up to book one and set-up for the eventual battle with the king to save the seas and changed/chosen ones. There wasn't enough time devoted to the relationships between Cassandra and her pirates. I wanted more time with Cassandra as the little bird or little fighter. I wanted to enjoy time with her dragon baby. What little time she had with her pirates was important but rushed. I feel cheated. This story has plenty of fear, loss, betrayal, and ugliness. We get to know a bit more about the sea god. A crucial character returns. When you add in the little gem of a story, Fall For the Sea, that followed after the ending of this book all of the pieces of the deal are in play. I look forward to the next book. One evil king, one heir, a crown, and especially a changed one and her pirates will all come together hopefully in a spectacular fashion. Just more pirates, please!

All The Feels 💞
If you're looking for a book that will give you hope, strip it away, make you weep and put all of your broken pieces together just as it ends..... well this book and series is just for you!! We witnessed a few tragically sad goodbyes in this second book, but they were so beautifully and artistically executed that while there were tears, the drive and desire to keep going was fierce! We read about all of the central characters from book one which I love! I hate leaving characters behind. The pirates are all so tender and protective that they kinda make you crush on them.... but pick a favorite!? How could one possibly manage to do that? I love that the pirates truly have our girl's back and that at the same time they're pushing her to be brave and telling her they'll follow her anywhere ♡ Ms. Bailey pens heartache and love so effortlessly! Her words sweep you away! She pulls these human dramas and deep emotions that many authors stumble upon when trying to create a scene or a character's inner dialogue. Ms. Bailey writes with grace, wit and overflowing creativity!!

Love this series!
The second book in G. Bailey's Saved by Pirates trilogy introduced us to some new characters including the evil King and the Sea God who creates the Chosen Ones. The last book left off with Cassandra being separated from her Pirates and captured by the King. She is reunited with some people from her past and together they are forced to take part in the King's evil games while the guys try to get to her. While enduring horrible conditions in the prison and trying to survive the games, Cassandra is presented with a choice to make regarding a proposition from the Sea God. Loyalties are also tested when she meets more of the royal family.By the end of the book Cass and her Pirates are gearing up for war, ready to take down the evil King and protect all future Chosen Ones from prosecution.Seriously can't wait for the last book in this trilogy! I just know Cassandra and the guys are gonna kick some butt!!

Pirates . . . LOVE PIRATES!!
This is book two in the series and picks up where book one left off. There was so much happening in this book and you learned so much and still was left wondering what happens next. This is my favorite Pirates series. It has everything you could possibly want. Hot guy that are willing to do anything for their girl, said hot guys are PIRATES! Then you have dragons and evil kings and family and friends and so much goodness. I didn't think that G. Bailey could surpass book one, but she did it and so much more in this book! I can't wait for the next book, I'm so excited to see where the story goes!!

I Enjoyed This Book #2 in The Series. Just Felt Like Something Was Missing.
This was a good 2nd book in the series. Not much time for relationships with her pirates probably because it's the set up for book #3. It just felt to me like I was gypped when I finished. Ended too soon. Hence the 4 stars. Something was missing and it might just be me ? I liked what the story was so maybe the next one won't leave me hanging.

Glad Book 3 isn't too far away!!
Definitely a good follow-up to Book 1, Escape the Sea. Cassandra has to go through some tough times in this book, a lot of it without her pirates. Some twists are revealed, some of them I didn't see coming which I really appreciated! I do feel like this book was rushed a bit, wish there was more time between Cassandra and her pirates. I still like this series and will continue to read it! G Bailey created these great characters and amazing potential relationships, I am being selfish/spoiled and wanting more haha. Can't wait for Book 3 where we get to see what happens in the battle with the King!!

A bit darker, but loved the development of the main character
Love the Sea is a great continuation of Cassandra's story. She finally starts to understand what makes her unique, and while this installment of the series is a little bit darker than the first, I love how Cassandra's relationships and friendships grow throughout the book. G. Bailey keeps you in Cassandra's mind, but gives little views into the pirates' thoughts by alternating narratives occasionally. I love her writing style and can't wait for the next one!

Heavy stuff!
After the heroine is captured, I could not have imagined how brutal her incarceration would be.The pirates are as lovely as they are in book one. Every time they turn up it’s s relief. The king is truly mad and absolutely horrid.I’m not looking forward to how they defeat him as it will be heart breaking. But oh wow I’m looking forward d to the next book. The extra book about Eowynn gives s nice background to a part of the story. Nice puzzle piece x

Absolutely fantastic book...bring on book 3 immediately!!
This is the second book in the series by G. Bailey and what a fantastic continuation of a story! This books starts off exactly where the first book finishes and it does not disappoint! The reader is captivated from the very first page and I was left yelling for book 3 at the end! Like all of G. Baily’s books this is a well written book full of emotion, intrigue, adventure, love, betrayal and hatred!! By the end of this book you really have a strong hate for the king and what he has done for his power and I can’t wait to read when Cass faces him again! One of the fantastic things in this book is Cass and her pirates. I love the connection between them all and Cass handles all 6 of them superbly, Hunter and Zach are my favourites, but they are all great characters!! G. Bailey also brings to life a great supporting cast with Cass’s father and Everly once again showing up in this book and of course who can forget the dragons!! This is a series that captivates the readers imagination and leaves you wanting to keep reading! A highly recommended series for the RH lovers!

Simply amazing.
Book two and the story thickens. G. Bailey is powering through this series and taking her readers on a powerful and intricate journey. This book in particular... God it creates more questions then answers them, leaving the audience panting for more. Her story line is seamless and the world building clear and consistent. Well done Gem, yes another feather for your author cap. Xx
