ok for Jams or short waterbath
I would not recommend these for pressure canning, or for those foods that are water bathed more than 15 minutes. I canned 75 jars of salsa that needed 15 minute water bath. one of the lids buckled up but i had a great seal ratio. (Only 1 hasn't sealed- I'll accept that as my fault)These lids are thin, so for jams/jellies salsa that only need 10-15 min water bath- they are a good deal.I inspected every lid before use- pictured are 2 that i found flaws with and would not use. I have not gone through the entire 200 at the time of writing this- only about 80 of them.I am a very seasoned canner not a novice.

Work great, don't close too tightly
They arrived on time and in great condition. So far, no scratches have yet to be found on the inner lids as stated in some reviews. At least in the pack I have opened. I did read the main issue people have experienced, is that they are more prone to buckling during processing, so I was very careful to only close finger tight. 7 of 8 have sealed in the first batch I ran in my pressure canner last night. Overall I'm satisfied, considering I haven't seen lids on a shelf here in over a year.

Cost benefit = 5 stars
I sought an alternative to the canning lids I usually buy and gave these a try. They arrived timely and appear to be the quantity advertised. Maybe a little lighter/thinner than other brands, but hard to tell for sure. A few had a small scratch on the enameled bottom (food side) of the lid, most were fine. Rubber seals looked fine on all I checked.I've canned two batches of jelly/jam (water bath method) for a total of 15 or so of these lids. 1 buckled slightly in the bath, but I may have had the ring too tight. Otherwise, they've all sealed and remained sealed for a week this far. They don't have as satisfying of a ping when sealing, but the middle does pop down so you should be able tell if they seal (or unseal).Smallish sample and not a lot of shelf time, but I thought my expirience could be helpful to others. If I have lots of failures or things otherwise go wrong, I will update.

Inferior product
This product is made in China that is very inferior it does not have a sealing button on tops of lids. I will return for refund.

Definitely an inferior product!
Purchased these canning lids, as through the pandemic we could not find Ball or Kerr lids in any of our local stores. Appears these cheap China versions are much thinner than what we are accustomed to. The wide mouth versions are the worst to buckle, more so than the regular quart or pint size.My mother, who has been canning for over 60 years, was not impressed with these. However, through trial and error did discover that if you only hand snug the bands on the jars and do not over tighten, they will perform much better when used in a pressure canner. She was able to can 42 cans of green beans with this method and all jars did seal. These lids would probably suffice well for pickles, jellies, etc. where you do not utilize a pressure canner, but would suggest the more sturdy Kerr or Ball brand for pressure canning.

Not the equal of USA made
I am an experienced home canner and I was not excited to buy Chinese made lids.... The sleeve of lids arrived in an un-cushioned envelope so I knew I was going to have damage... First lid was dented and unusable, went in the trash... I bought these knowing that I would ONLY water bath with them and never use for pressure canning because I have scavenged enough Ball and Kerr lids to set aside for that preserving process - I would never trust these lids in a pressure canner..I did not count all of the lids as some reviewers have done, but I can say that I have used almost 24 lids on water bath canning so far and had 3 failures of the lids to seal that had to be reprocessed with new lids.. I know that lids can fail to seal for multiple reasons, but as a person who is advanced in home canning, I may have had 3 out of 75 lids fail over the past 4 years - Doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about the longevity of these lids... Buyer beware and good luck

Worked great for canning peaches
I used these to can over 20 quarts of peaches, and none failed. This included at least 20min in boiling water. They are a little thinner than the ones that came with my other Mason jars, but seem to work just as well.I read some reviews of complaints of buckling or other issues, but I didn't have any of these. I was careful to not overtighten: before boiling, I fill the jar, clean the rim, place the lid on, and then securely tighten the ring to fit the lid to the jar. Then I back off the ring, and re-tighten finger tight, just enough to make sure the lid is touching and secure all the way around the jar. Very easy, and no failures.
