Nice tight fit
Nice tight fit! A little difficult to install but the provided lube aided in the installation. Needed a 9" and they dont make them that length but it actually looks better than having the hole can covered. Greatly reduces any vision problems when heated. Would buy again.

ok for the money but its a big big hunk of rubber!
Ok here is the deal. its a big big diameter unit! it does work for short bursts. its not made for mag dumps but a few 20 round mags in slow firing like target shooting it works as its suppose to. i was able to grab it and and take my supressor off and shoot without it and set it down without catching mat on fire! just remember once you out this on its not coming off!! it pretty much kinda melts/glues on the can. its ok thats all and certainly beats paying nearly 100.00 for those other over priced cloth type. I use my can for range and hunting so it will work for me. It saves you burning your leg if you do some transition shooting from carbine to pistol etc. it is heavy too but thats not a big issue.

Too heavy and bulky
It is a lot bulkier than I expected and heavier. You would think they would make one not so weighty, the suppressor weights enough as it is.You don't need to add extra weight.

Performs well. Bit heavy and shape is not ideal
It works great but it is very large. The points catch on my dragbag which does not make for a quick deployment of my boltgun out of the trunk of my patrol car. A slightly thinner profile and rounded shape would cut down on the weight and make it easier to deploy my rifle. But as far heat and mirage shield, it works very well.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT
Pro- Looks cool- Reduces heat enough to unscrew the can with bare hand after a few hundred roundsCons:- Too tight for my Gemtech Trek can. I had to force it in half way and beat my can with a hammer. I had to cut it to take my can out- rubber will stick to your can- Adds too much weight and makes it difficult to move aroundSpend a little more around $70-100 on a quality light cover. This was just a junk and pure waste of money.

Totally worth it.
Fit like a glove on my Advanced Armament 5.56 suppressor. Easy to cut down for any length. Works very well. 60 rounds full auto in 3-5 round bursts and I could still hold the rifle up by the suppressor. It was warm, but it dam sure ain't gonna burn your gear. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was that it makes a bigger shadow when using a light, and I have to be careful about rotational placement on the suppressor so as not to block the laser from my PEQ-16.

Ugly as hell, but effective
Ordered Camo, got green. Large, ugly but gun bounced off atv at speed on gravel and it did protect supressor. Will not slide off, plan is to razor knife it off. Would not buy again.

Whatever these are made of, it isn't silicone as ...
Whatever these are made of, it isn't silicone as it melts in a way silicone doesn't. That said, it still technically works, and maintains critical cooling around the can, it just isn't really as advertised. Also, once you've melted it onto your can, the only way you're getting it off is by cutting it off.
