Great fun for all the family at a decent price
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little kite, perfect for a beginner and for a bit of family fun!The kite arrives packed into its incredibly small black carry case - so small in fact that I was initially disappointed and thought it would be a bit on the small side but was pleasantly surprised once it was all set up!Setting it up is a breeze, there are photographic instructions which are easy to follow, essentially, you construct the main frame of the kite (a cross shape of lightweight tent style poles) which are hooked into the kite material to give it structure with the “wings” of the kite being sewn in poles (again, tent style poles) which are in two pieces and need to be pushed together to create the “wing”. Then just clip on the handle and you’re ready to go!The handle has a lightweight strong wire which attaches it to the kite and is supplied with 100 metres of cord so if you’re brave, you can get this thing pretty high! It’s pretty easy to handle - it is a basic kite so there’s nothing fancy about it but this makes it perfect for kids to fly!Given the compact size, it’s absolutely perfect to keep in the boot of your car so it’s on hand if you take the kids to the park etc and it won’t take up hardly any space if you’re heading for a day out to the beach or going camping etc.I think this is a brilliant thing to have and at £13.99 is a bargain! We’ve used it a few times now and it’s great to see the kids playing with something that’s interactive and enjoying being outdoors! Anything that drags them away from their technology is worth every penny in my book!I would definitely recommend this kite!

Good But Have a Problem With Ours
I'm starting to think is it me, we had two kites to try out a stunt kite and this one, the stunt kite did not really get off the ground and the problem was mainly due to the stays not staying in there holders, this one however did get off the ground even though what started as a very windy day seemed to stop being windy by the time we reached the park but there was enough gusts to get this airborne.Very simple to put together just clip together the stitched in stays which is a bit of a fiddle then fit the centre stays, clip on the string and your away, it fly's really well apart from we kept getting a drop in wind and down it would come. After a few flights I noticed that one of the stitched in stays has come apart so I pressed it back in and sent the kite up when it came back down I found the stay had done it again, so I pushed it back in but it felt like a very loose fit, I made sure it was inserted all the way in and it was but it would just fall back out with a shake, what makes this worse is the fact its a hidden joint underneath the material so difficult to fix, after the problem with the other kite and no other reviewers having the same problem I am starting to wonder if I am doing something wrong but it's only a case of pushing two stays together. So knocking a star off because my kite seems a bit faulty but other than that it does fly and I should be able to fix the problem with a sharpie and a bit of packing.

Perfect kite!
As a kid, I was obsessed with kites! I had several but none of them took off the ground despite it being windy. I even made paper ones which obviously did not take off either. So I did not have much hope in regards to this kite taking off but decided to try it out anyways! Luckily, I was wrong.Firstly, the kite was confusing to assemble at first but looking back at it, it was quite simple - maybe I was just tired. You only have to put in a few metal rods which are provided and attach the string and its holder(?). The material is a bit noisy but it does look quite nice and sturdy so I would trust it will last a long time. Gorgeous and vibrant colours, with a nice, long trail. It was a windy day when we tried it our and it immediately lifted off the ground! The kids, the dogs and I were so surprised but so glad that it worked! I will cherish this kite for a very long time. I am very pleased with it and in my opinion, it is definitely worth the price!I highly recommend this product!

Great value for a pop of colour
This kite arrived simply packed and in perfect condition.I like this! The kite arrived packed inside a black carry case which takes up very little room. It's straightforward to assemble, although I still managed to need two attempts! For the price it's a good size and feels sturdy. The colours are great and the long rainbow tail looks lovely when it's flying. It's had one flight so far in the local park , and went into the air first go. I haven't tried anything fancy with it (I know my limits!) but it's fun just as a basic kite doing its thing.Do be careful with the string on your hands, as with any kite.Happy to recommend.Currently priced at £13.99Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Great for a sunny day - Easy to setup - Very compact when not in use
Considering how big this kite was once it is built and in the air I was incredibly impressed in how small the packaging was. it is really easy to set up as it is a simple triangle style frame and attach the guidelines. Has a really bright and colourful tail which makes it look really impressive when it goes up. I've actually got some proper power kites for playing around on the beach and doing large jumps et cetera but this is ideal to just make the baby smile within a couple of minutes of set up. It is pretty safe to be used under adult supervision but as with any kite you need to be careful of letting the lines loose as it goes up or as you let line out as you will cut your hands if you let the nylon rope just slide through. Very good value and easy to fly in low to moderate wind.
