Solved Alternator Whine
I brought a Tunai Firefly Bluetooth aux transmitter for my mk6 fiesta. Annoyingly I had a horrid alternator whine come through whenever I went to use Spotify. I brought this ground poop isolator and it has completely eliminated the issue. Top marks so far, let’s hope it lasts.

Does as promised
Had interference issues when powering some speakers and a connected Amazon Echo from the same supply, witch created a ground loop. This unit solved it, so now I have clear sound and fewer wires. It is an expensive way to cut a ground wire, but less fiddly and I didn't want to modify the 3.5mm jack lead because it was integrated with the speakers. The unit has sockets on both sides and includes a short male-to-male lead, to cover most needs.

The dog's orchids
This really does what is meant to do. I'm not using it in the car, but on my home stereo set up, which is a little quirky (valve amp, vintage equaliser, remote control volume module and mobile FLAC player). I had a hum, figured it was a ground loop, and installed this in the hope it was, and it works!I worked out which connector had to be disconnected to stop the hum, and put this in there, between each side of the connection. And yes, I know, an odd setup like mine is almost guaranteed to have a ground loop somewhere.Music playback is enhanced as well, given that I'm not injecting a spurious 100 Hz signal into it anymore (I'm guessing anything with a G2- G#2 drone would have been fine, but I don't have a lot of that in my music collection).Quick update: the bass is clearer, crisper and stronger. I shouldn't be surprised, I guess, since 100 Hz is in that range.

Not the best quality
The isolator itself works well enough, but the included lead needed to be thrown away.Fortunately, I had one of my own to use otherwise I would have suspected it wasn't working at all. Using the supplied lead I had no sound getting through.

Used with Aux Input in Car Stereo via Bluetooth
Pro'sIt got rid of the interference completely.ConsIt also cuts the audio volume level. If you turn it up it sounds hollow / muffled, almost like you're listening through a fog. Appears as if it cuts out either the left or right channel. Changed the lead twice but made absolutely no difference. Sadly, a no go I'm afraid for me.
