Updated review
With a 2021 Dell XPS 17 (9710) running Windows 11 Pro as soon as I go to display settings with this connected -> crash blue screen of death, tried various screens, power connected and not connected, both laptop and dongle. My old Dell 3100 dock runs 3 screens of the same laptop without problems. Thanks to Dell for taking 2 month to deliver my laptop I've missed the window to return this.UPDATEThe seller reached to me after reading that review and offered an unconditional refund or replacement, I took the replacement, still blue screen of death....Then I got a certified Thunderbolt 4 hub and that didn't work either, so went through the Windows event logs and found that the Dell app "Premier Color" was having issues so uninstalled that and the other Dell graphics app, the hub still didn't work, but his adapter did! Dis everything promised + good customer service, so upped the rating from 1 to 5 stars. It works as advertised, compact, sturdy enclosure and power delivery pass-through (100 W in, not measured probably high 80s out, keeps my laptop that is rated for 130W going for a normal load). That's ticked the important boxes: from one Thunderbolt socket on my XPS I get charge and 2 x 4k screen and headphone socket, I can double that and still have 2 Thunderbolt 4 sockets free. IMO don't hesitate, click buy.(I got the hub working later with updating the firmware, it had been updated 3 times before this year and the Dell Support Assistant was not identifying an update was needed).

Updated review - Increased from 2 to 5 stars
I recently wrote a review on this adaptor as it didn't work - I could only get a feed into one monitor and the screen was intermittent. However, after being contacted by the seller a replacement was sent which works perfectly as described. So I am changing my review straight up to a 5 star as this now works perfectly and as described. I can patch in two additional monitors and charge my laptop at the same time. Also 5* service in reaching out and trying to resolve the problem for me - very much appreciated. If you need to power your laptop and have to feed into two additional monitors, then this is ideal.

Perfect for extending your desktop
Extremely well built and very easy to set up - had it up and running in minutes.Works with Windows 10 and 11, iPad Pro 12.9 2022, Samsung S22 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.Very useful if you work from home and need to see multiple sources of information at the same time.Would definitely recommend this to friends and family who need to add extra monitors to devices with USBC connectors.

Stop working. Not reliable.
I purchased this item on July 23rd 2022. It lasted 6 months and stopped working. I have replaced HDMI cables and nothing. I thought it would last a couple of years but no luck, False economy. Furthermore, the warranty for this device of 30 days is an unconditional refund guarantee from Amazon. This product provides at least one year of free replacement service." I am in the process to have it refunded. The company is helping me with this process.

Surfacebook 2 with 2 display 4K@30Hz
Works great in getting 2 4K displays running in extended mode at 30Hz.Bought a much more expensive Targus DOCK423A but that even it is supposed to support 2 4K @ 60Hz could only get 1 running at 4K be it 60 or 30 Hz and the second display on Full HD only, no matter what setting could not get 2 4K displays running. This little device did it seamlessly, mind you at 60hz would be nicer but for office work 30Hz is fine.

An easy way to connect up to two 4K screens
I wanted a low-effort device specifically for connecting my laptop to a couple of 4 k monitors using HDMI, with minimal fuss. This device does that, and it doesn't require any power (other than it gets from the laptop over USB), so it's great for a quick and easy setup. It's nothing like a docking station or a powered hub, lacking effective charging (I could get the charging port to charge a tablet, but not my laptop - perhaps I misunderstand the way it's supposed to be used). There's a 3.5 mm audio jeck which I found to be of limited use, as the audio is output on my monitors as well as on the headphones. Once again, perhaps I am misunderstanding how it should be configured. There's no port for plugging in a keyboard, so you either need to use your laptop keyboard (not really a hardship!) or use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.Putting all that to one side, the bit that I wanted, using my laptop with external displays, works just as it should. After the initial configuration (for a PC, that's to "extend" the display, and shuffle around the screen layout to match the actual layout so the mouse moves intuitively between them), all you need to do is plug the laptop in, wait for a few seconds for the screens to be recognised by the software, and you're away. There's nothing to configure in hardware other than plugging in the three cables (two HDMI to the monitors and one USB-C to the laptop). There's no support for Display Port monitors, but, for now, at least, HDMI is very widespread. The 2 x 4K setup at 60 Hz is ideal for a home office configuration.

It doesn’t work unfortunately and there’s no option to contact the seller so will just return.
