Feels great with my skin
I first received this product from a Causebox subscription. I took it for granted and then started adding it to my skin care routine. I love the way it feels on my face. It keeps my face hydrated throughout the day (along with the other products that are use).

Excellent product
I received the product 5/13/2022, and started using it immediately. Wow! I saw a marked improvement immediately after using it in a day, the verynextday. The Product is pricey, but I got what I paid for.

Improves fine lines but leaves my face feeling greasy
I don’t have a lot of facial wrinkles yet (thank goodness) but have recently started using facial serum to help fight off the inevitable. My biggest wrinkles are in crows feet under my eyes and worry lines on my forehead. This product is supposed to boost collagen production and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. I had been using retinol serums but I have sensitive skin so when I discovered Bakuchiol, I switched to that. Most recently before this COSMEDIX Bakuchiol Complete serum, I ordered Philosophy “Nature in a Jar” Reset Serum. This product is very similar.Bakuchiol is derived naturally from the babchi plant, mostly grown in India, and has properties of retinol without some of the irritation that some users get from retinol. As with the Nature in a Jar serum, I notice that the crows feet and forehead wrinkles are slightly less after using this product for several weeks.Like the the Philosophy product, this COSMEDIX serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper for dispensing it. However, the two differ because the Philosophy serum is halfway to a lotion while this is a thin almost oily product with a purplish tint to it. I use about three droppers full each time to completely cover my face, and it leaves it with a sort of greasy feeling (but my face does exhibit more of a glow to it without looking oily like it feels). This product does apply quite easily - but I just don’t love the greasy sort of feeling.Overall, I do like this product, but I prefer that my skin doesn’t have a residual oiliness to it. Also, while it does reduce visible signs of wrinkles slightly, it is not a miracle worker.Make sure to avoid the sun, use sunscreen, eat well and drink lots of water, get good sleep, etc to also help your skin look its best. You should also use moisturizer on top of this product.I like that this doesn’t have added fragrance to it and is cruelty free. But I probably won’t order it again due to the greasy feeling it leaves behind.

Leaves my face oily and is causing breakouts
Love the other products I have tried but this one I am not a fan. Every time I have used it my face is super oily and if used at night I wake up with pimples the next day.

Really nice serum, works well with other products
I've been using this serum for a bit, and it's really working well with my skin. At first it feels really thin and oily, and I only need a few drops to get good coverage. It's a clear purple color, with very little scent. It doesn't absorb right away, I usually massage it in, then give it a few minutes before I apply other my moisturizer over it. My skin always looks really pretty and dewy after application, but I still only wear it at night because I think it's a little oily for day use. I know people compare this to retinol a lot, but I don't get that super smooth feeling from using this, like I do with retinol. My skin still looks great and I think it works amazingly well on fine lines. I also don't get any sensitivity using this like I do with retinol which is great. I think this will be a great alternative when I'm taking a break from retinol. I've tried Bakuchiol products before with limited success but this one from Cosmedix is the best I've tried for sure.

Dense Serum Perfect For Retinol-Sensitive Skin
This "COSMEDIX Bakuchiol Complete Plant-Based Retinol Alternative Serum, Improves Appearance of Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Lightweight & Nourishing, Vegan Botanical Retinol Alternative, Cruelty & Gluten Free" ... serum is ideal for someone who is sensitive to Retinol. I'm one of those people who actually redden and blister from Retinol. This reaction is hit and miss depending on the product's quality, so when I saw that this serum imitates all the wonderful benefits that Retinol offers aging skin, I was excited to try it out. This serum is very dense. A tiny drop is all I use, and I add it to my lotion, blending the two over my face in the evenings. I don't use it during the day. The oils in this serum are Moringa Seed and Jojoba, which are both very nourishing to one's skin. My skin handles this serum very well, as it softens and doesn't irritate my skin at all. It is supposed to brighten my skin and eventually soften fine lines, so time will tell, but I am happy with it so far!(Helpful? I hope so.)
