I do it the best way; free floating in water with a little ...
I'll give it 4 stars because it does work. That being said it is not intuitive and there's no instructions included. You absolutely have to oil them first or you will leave half the egg behind stuck in the pod. You also have to watch the boiling level of the water or it will overflow the sides and sink. It's also a little tricky to get out of the pot without the handle tool that is also available to buy. the silicone does get hot. I used a ladle to scoop them out and it worked ok. You also have to cover the pot with a lid or they will not cook evenly and take much longer. After I sacrificed one egg with a little experimentation I got it right the second time. It took about 8 minutes at a light boil and the Egg came out perfectly medium. I'm a fairly seasoned cook and I make poached eggs all the time. I do it the best way; free floating in water with a little vinegar. These little cups however are a very helpful way to get the process done quicker if you're making breakfast for several people. I would recommend them especially if you were not very skilled at making poached eggs in the first place. Just be patient and do a few trial runs you might throw away a couple of eggs in the process but you will figure it out and they do work.

Just buy these.
Eat eggs? Buy these. Like poached eggs? What are you waiting for? Buy these now. Eat eggs but don't know what "poached" even means? Google "poached eggs," and then buy these. It's almost stupid how easy these make poaching eggs. Heat up some water in a sauce pot. Hit these with a shot of cooking spray. Drop in a dash of your favorite seasoning. Place the pods in the water. Crack your eggs into the pods. Season the tops to your likings. Cover and leave in simmering or lightly boiling water for a few minutes until done to your liking. Remove, turn them over and plop those lusciously poached eggs upon thy plate and enjoy. If you screw up poaching eggs with these, you need a handicap sticker so you can park closer to the front door of Walmart.Seriously, they're less than $10. I've wasted more money than that by stuffing it in a strippers crack. And I'm not talking about pretty strippers. I mean like the ugly one that you keep trying not to make eye contact with until the DJ announces 2-for-1 lap dances and she's the only one left walking around the floor.Seriously. Just buy these. They are well worth it.

Poaching eggs is so easy with these cups!
I love these cups! I spray one spray of olive oil Pam in them and spread it around the rest of the cup. I use a deep pan with a lid and fill it enough that the eggs float rather than touching the bottom of the pan. A few minutes of cooking in the boiling water with the lid on cooks them perfectly. To remove them from the cups I use a soup spoon and gently scoop them out. To clean the cups I turn them inside out. If necessary I gently use a brush on them but usually they easily come clean. I donโt put them in the dishwasher. That can make things stick to the silicone. I gave up making poached eggs until I got these because so much of the egg ended up in the water. No egg loss with these!

Easy clean, easy preparation. No mess poached eggs
Even though they are silicone, spray them with release spray. I tried a small pad of butter, but that is insufficient. Get about an inch of water boiling in a pot that will fit the number of cups you need. Add the eggs and cups and cook to how you like your eggs. As others have said, I find 5.5 - 6 minutes works well for my eaters. I simply reach in with two hands, grab a cup and allow the egg to slide out on the piece of prepared toast.

Just tried them this morning and they work like a charm
Just tried them this morning and they work like a charm: poached eggs on toasted bagel, best breakfast ever. I only wish the shape was a little flatter on the bottom, you wind up with round-bottom poached eggs instead of more spread-out, but if it avoids the messy cleanup of having to scrape an eggy pan until your arm falls off, I'm all for it. I highly recommend this product.

Still have yet to find the right way to use ...
Still have yet to find the right way to use them the minutes, and the egg sticking to it even though I spray them.

Eggs poachers.
Really easy to use. You have soft boil egg in 3-4 min. I just grease a little bit before I crack the egg. You can also add some pre cooked veggies, cheese, spice with your eggs. I clean them by hand. A good price.
