Check it for twisted arms.
I bought one from a retail store. First thing when you open the box, compare each rotor to the ones to either side. Turn their tips to point to one another. They should be at the same level. When I look straight at the end of each arm and compare the flat bottom of the ends against the bottom center of the body, I can see the twist. On mine, the levels vary a lot. Most of the arms on the body have a twist and they're different amounts. It's not bent shafts, the rotors don't wobble at all. With the twist putting the shafts at angles, the thrust isn't straight down. If you do manage to get it somewhat stable, the instant you change throttle setting or do any maneuver, the off-axis thrust forces change and it's unstable again.I tried the trim adjustments, both on the remote and on my phone. One click was the difference between flying off to the right or left, forward or back - requiring a lot of opposite control input to correct. It's somewhat easier to control on the 60% setting than the 30% one. 30% is just too slow and 'mushy' to be able to keep up with the instability caused by the crooked rotor shaft mounting.

good features, poor recharging design
The briliant people in design came up with a difficult 'trap door' under the flier you have to open to charge... which is not only surprisingly hard to remove, but you have to pull on the CAMERA to snap it open....placing (I assume) your thumb on the lens, then tugging back on its fragile attachment to the door until it finally gives. Then, you must unplug and pull out a crammed wire and plug that into a USB charger, then cram that back into it after replugging the delicate socket and slide it closed, pulling on the camera again.Seriously, you're expecting say a 12 year old child to do this every 9 minutes? Even as a careful adult with one of these I doubt the thing lasts more than a few weeks of use without something breaking there. Why not just have a simple socket on the bottom? The drone has many great points- live video broadcast, smartphone clip, well placed and separate controlller that doesn't force you to look through your thumbs to see the video and control the device (I can't stand glass smartphone 'buttons'). Also has the blade guards which is a must. To their credit they did include a few spare blades and parts. But due to the recharging bozo-ness this is clearly designed to break fast. Good luck!
