Q: What is the weight limit for these chairs?

I weigh around 200 lbs and I sat in this chair for several hours per day several times during the period of 1 month, it remained intact. I think it may fail if a weight of around 250 lbs is applied for any prolonged period of time. The cushion and frame are durable, but the bottom of the seat appears to be made from some type of high density cardboard material, I would avoid getting it wet.

Heavy duty composite board. It's pretty sturdy and can handle a heavy person.

Q: where are these made?

Made in China of course. I like the chair very much and it fits me just fine. I am six foot 200 pounds and the chair is very comfortable.
