Salt and Pepper Grinder Set w/ Tray - Noncorrosive Nonabsorptive Ceramic Rotors and Stainless Steel Cap w/ Lid

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and so far I'm liking it. I had some reserves based on some of the reviews saying it didn't work properly. So I wanted to give it some time to decide. First, it's beautiful. Sleek and shiny. And I absolutely LOVE that they have caps and that they sit with the expeller part sitting up rather than down so crumbs don't get everywhere. And I also LOVE that it comes with a carrier. I don't like to have things out on my counters so I keep mine in a cupboard and it's so easy to grab the carrier and transport them to the table. And no mess inside my cupboard or on the table. I had read one review stating that every time S/he ground it, the top came off and that was what I was most worried about. But I have not even come close to experiencing that. They're two different parts to turn. The only negative I've seen was that there were no directions at all that it came with. There was an insert in French I think but nothing in English. So I haven't yet figured out how to adjust the ground on it. But I also haven't played with that. And the only other thing is that it seems there isn't a set way to turn it to keep it grinding. For instance when I turn it clockwise, salt comes out. Then it seems to slow down and I turn it counter clockwise and salt comes out again. So I just sort of go back and forth. Would have been nice to know if that's how it's supposed to work. Other than those two minor things it's working very well for me and I'm glad I got it.

I was needing a salt and pepper grinder set to replace a different pair (received as a gift) that were starting to very badly corrode. I did a lot of research on the variety of grinders offered on Amazon, and concluded that, for the price point, this was the set to buy. I've not been disappointed at all. They are attractive and highly functional. It is very easy to adjust grain size, and the glass reservoirs hold a huge amount of salt and pepper. I kind of wish the caddy was a little deeper, but considering most other sets don't even provide one, this is a minuscule concern.

Besides working well, I love no longer having residue salt and pepper on my counter! The tray keeps the set together; they are stored right side up. You take off the lids, turn 'em over and grind away! Smart !!!

I ordered first salt and pepper grinder set, and one grinder was defective. I ordered a replacement set, and both were defective. Insufficient glue holding chrome ring to grinder ring. Also had sharp edge on the metal ring, bad fit in the design. I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone. I will have to find another solution.

So far so good!! Nice size and work well for the price. Had some battery operated one before these and they were nothing but trouble. I don't keep the caps on as they are a little tight and to me not necessary. Hope they last!

Very well made. Love the design, function and perfect price point. The material is glass and metal parts. Very nice!! Best set I've owned.

Great set of salt & pepper grinders. They are nice looking, sturdy & the grinders work really well. The black plastic holder w/metal handle makes a nice way to display them on your table.

Just as described, very nice and elegant. Works wonderfully.
