I love the bag and it seems sturdy. Although, when used as a beach bag it stains the clothes you're wearing and the colour leaches out. So not sure if I'll trust it when wearing decent clothes of light colour, especially if you're a bit sweaty.

Just what I wanted. It is strong enough and has the capacity to hold a laptop plus overnight clothes etc. It is flexible so that it's not bulky when full.

This was my third attempt at getting a decent bag for walking to the gym with my kit. My priorities were:1) Roomy enough for gym kit including shoes, but small enough to fit in the narrow lockers at the gym.2) Easy to carry on my back.3) Robust.4) Showerproof.This bag met these criteria pretty well. It's made of strong canvas that seems to keep out the rain; I was pleased to find the front pocket was big enough to hold my shoes, all my other kit easily fits into the main compartment and it's comfortable to carry and doesn't slip off my shoulders. The main compartment and the front pocket are closed with good quality plastic zips and one of the smaller compartments inside is zipped. It's got a couple of extra pockets on the outside and three more small compartments inside that are not zipped. The only criticism I have is that it could be improved by making more of the small compartments closable by zip and by adding a zipped pocket on the underside of the flap that closes the main compartment.

A wonderful bag: well designed, strong, lightweight. I returned an alternative by Witzman and kept this bag – and will probably buy another one in a different colour.The bag is barrel-shaped, but the adjustment straps on the sides allow making it flatter, almost rectangular, when it is only partially filled. The external compartment takes an A4 sized folder, and there is a very useful padded sleeve for a laptop inside the bag. A wet umbrella (medium sized, not just a super-compact one as shown in a photo) can be very conveniently carried on the outside, fixed by utilising both a small external pocket and a strap on the side.The 3 ways of carrying the bag detailed in the product description leave out the way that I found particularly convenient when carrying a moderate load: stowing away one shoulder strap and attaching the other one diagonally, then carrying the bag over one shoulder in the sling bag fashion. It hangs nice and flat against the back this way, but the strap needs to be attached diagonally to achieve that.I wish the trimming was made of real leather – would happily pay extra for that. The product description makes it clear that it is PU leather, so I was not disappointed (and there is not that much trimming there anyway – the difference is more psychological than practical).

It is really nice and light weight a very masculine design which is perfect as I bought it for my partner. Not quite as sturdy as I thought I wouldn't have thought the material was quite as thin. It is very versatile with being able to sie it as a rucksack or carry bag

Front pocket I would not recomend for your laptop. There is not much padding and it barely zips up my 13in macbook pro. I have instead put the laptop inside the bag in the main compartment. Weight is better distributed inside and more protection for the laptop.Quality of the bag is tough and durable, a heavy canvas. I actually did a ruck run with it on to catch a train. Filled to the brim with meal prep, change of clothes and shoes, water bottle, laptop, and charger the bag's weight was evenly distributed due to the width of the back pack straps, and it felt great. Previous backpacks would feel terrible on my shoulders with less weight. Haven't even explored the versatility of the bag yet with the 3 different options. I just use it as a backpack so far. Would definitley recommend if you want a versatile, stylish, and practical backpack/shoulder bag.

Good bag for day to day use carrying 5 uni textbooks, a laptop and chargers AND a spare hoodie. Lots of space and the front pocket is a good enough size to have all my smaller pieces inside so i dont have to search in the main part for them.But The laptop sleeve in the backpack is open at the bottom so if im not careful, my laptop can get into a really uncomfortable position digging into my back. But worth it for the price 👌

Recently purchased after doing a lot of research for a suitable "carry on flight bag". I used it for a 6 day transatlantic trip where I used it as my carry on baggage. The dimensions are well under that specified for most airline carry ons. I used it with a BA flight. Although it initially looks smaller than expected, I packed running shoes, rain coat, micro-fleece, 3 tee shirts, 3 long sleeve light weight tops, 1 pair jeans, 1 cardigan, 1 skirt, leggings X 2, socks & underwear for the trip, plus small net book, reading book, small make up bag. Fit perfectly into overhead locker of plane and easy to carry as a backpack.
