Marinella - Italian Flat Fillets of Anchovies, (1)- 8.1 oz. Jar

Purchased as a gift for my husband who is ultra picky about what anchovies go in his Caesar salad. As in, nothing in cans allowed. These were a wonderful, smooth taste explosion filled with flavor. Salty (as are all anchovies) but not too salty. There was none of the "sharpness," or bitter taste of cheaper anchovies. My husband and daughter were eating them like snack food.We actually had a taste test of four different (similarly priced) jars of anchovies. The Marinella brand won, hands down. If you are an anchovy connoisseur, you will enjoy these. They are worth the price. Plus, it comes in a nifty reusable container.If you haven't ever tried a "good" jar of anchovies...you are missing out. Buy yourself some as a treat. You won't go back to canned. :)
