Typical South Indian boiled rice with overpriced
Though the price of the bag -5kgs for 580 rs i.e almost 115 rs per kg, where as we get it 50-60 rs per KG in Mangalore (from where this rice gets packed).Quality of the rice is Good...

Very good compared to renowned brands
Earlier I bought matta rice of double horse and nirapara. As and when I wash it the red colour changes almost to white... The strained water seems like I mixed poster colour in it.But this brand rice didn't disappoint me... After clean wash it reminds me of having pure fresh matta rice from our fields in our childhood. Thank u

Excelent quality rice, but over priced
I have been using SRK rice for over 7 years now. The rice is of excellent quality, no doubt about that. Many of the popular matta rice available in Kerala & karnataka wont come anywhere near SRK in terms of quality or taste. Usually I get it in 25kg bags every time I come back to Bangalore.The price quoted in Amazon is more than double the price from a retailer in Kerala.Edit: Updated the review as I received a message from the seller explaining the reasons for the increased price.

More Healthy rice
Definitely good with more visible bran & pigment even after cooking at the same time though bran rich very much tasty only with dishes compared to brown rice! Good quality "Healthy" Rice!

Just the right kind
Value for money. Simply original. Good quality rice. But need to cook in the pressure cooker for 30 minuts. Have been buying since two years. Delivery personnel do return product without being rejected/refused.
