these look fine. well machined
just got these, so long term is still up in the air. but, for now, these look fine. well machined, 18/8 stainless, with a satin finish. no, all stainless is not the same. these, under normal use, should last a lifetime. well, if you don't store them in your pickle jar. handles are of adequate thickness, so they won't bend with common use. spot rivets appear to be strong. one of the few, if not only measuring utensils offered with a "grip" handle. finally, something that won't slip out of your fingers when you're trying to use it. set comes with a large storage ring, if you would like to hang them on your reindeer. I like mine laid out in the drawer, so I can grab the one I need without sounding like MARLEY talking to SCROOGE. tired of the plastic and the cheapies? try these, you'll like them.

Quality Measuring Cups
I bought these measuring cups very recently and so far I am very happy with them. They are easy to work with and the five sizes cover my needs very well. They are made of fairly heavy gauge material and thus the cups have a solid feel and the handle will not bend easily. The rubber inserts in the handle make them easy to hold and comfortable in the hand. From reviewing other people's comments about steel measuring cups with handles that are welded to the cup, it seems that the biggest question has to do with the durability of the welds. The handles are attached with three spot welds. The welds appear to be well done but only time will tell if they hold up as well as I expect them to.

Love them!
The main reason I bought these was for the 1/8th cup measure. Very had to find. A side benefit was the red colored handle, red being one of my favorite colors. But now that I've actually used them, I've discovered that the quality of the measuring cups is amazing. They're a good weight, accurate to use and easy to clean. And the slight padding on the handles makes them very comfortable to hold. Love them!

They'll be fine until something better comes along
They are working just fine and show no signs of rust. After reading reviews of possible rust, the first thing I did was remove the nice silicone handle inserts that trap water in them. I wish they had stamped graduation markings on them like my last set did. In example the one cup had markings for 1/3 and 1/2 cup stamped in them.

Solid, Simple, and Durable
These little cups have done their duty well! They're not made of a flimsy grade of steel; they are solidly built and so far have put up admirably with being tossed around the kitchen. Their weight (in my opinion) is well-balanced, too - they have just enough weight to feel satisfyingly solid and not so heavy that working with them becomes annoying. As far as form and function are concerned, they're not flashy - they're just measuring cups. They do what they do, and they're made better by their simplicity. They look nice and their solid construction makes using them very satisfying.

Handle bends every time I scoop something up like sugar or flour

Well worth it.
These measuring cups are very sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing. They work very well, and match our mixing bowls which i love. Very pleased with this product.

A little disappointed.
Bowl is a nice quality; however the handles feel a little flimsy. I worry it will detach with normal use. For that reason I would not buy again.
