ENBO Shimano Bike Rear Derailleur RD-TX800 7/8 Speed Direct Mount for Mountain Bicycle (Black)

I haven’t worked on a bike in 30 years and this was a lot easier to replace than I thought it would be and a lot less expensive than taking it to a bike shop.

The old Derailleur was a Shimano Tourney TX. Check your chain for a master link before you order, my shimano did not have a link so I had to get the kit to press pins out and installed the master link. I had a hard time rerouting the chain after I installed the new derailleur, take a pic of the old before you pull the old. No adjustments were made.

I am pleased with this product, not competition grade if that's what you're looking for but does work great for just everyday riding.

In an attempt to make my son's 7-speed bike easier to shift I swapped out the el-cheapo rear unit with this one. Quality is great, but it is a little large for a 20" bike. Regardless, it works well but wasnt the problem. I replaced the twist-shifter with a click-shifter and all is well now. And it has a quality rear deraileur.

i spent a week working on an old derailleur on my kid's bike and finally broke-down and purchased a new one... i wished i had purchased this a week ago. easy install, shifts smooth.

I am impressed with the value for money. It was easy to install, ships very easy, very simple to adjust. The cogs were bigger than what I am used to but that turns out to be an advantage.

I replaced the generic "Tourney" 7-speed derailleur with this RD-TX800 and the shifting instantly went from "doesn't work very well at all" to "works perfectly with precise index shifting from gear 1 through 7. Unbelievable improvement. Highly recommend.

My ebike was really shifting badly and not holding the tall gears. After replacing the cassette, it still skipped. Once I replaced the derailleur that solved the issue. I think Ebikes can be hard on these.

It works great

C'est affiché 7/8 vitesses, mon vélo a 8 vitesses, mais le dérailleur s'arrête à 7 vitesses donc, j'ai la première vitesse qui est inutilisable, c'est dommage. Ceci constaté, il me faut un dérailleur de 9 ou 10 vitesses pour être s à-propos sûr de pouvoir utiliser toutes mes vitesses.
