i love reading reviews from people about items they purchase. hopefully they are detailed enough for me to make an informed decision about whether or not i should buy the item. so i read the reviews about this over the door hook rack and was on the fence about buying them. the reviews were all over the place but i bought 2 anyway. these hook racks are little gems. the quality is exceptional. they are lightweight (they are aluminum) and you do have to assemble part of them ( 2 racks = 5 minutes ) they come with a cushioning strip that goes on the back of the assembled racks to protect your door (i have never seen that before ). they sit up high on the door and are so clean and unfussy looking that i think they are perfect.

J'en ai pris 2, et il est plus petit que sur la photo. 6 patères, c'est trop, les manteaux sont vraiment trop serrés, quant à mettre un chapeau... on en met 1 et il occupe déjà toute la longueur quasiment. Clairement plus adaptés pour des torchons ou des serviettes de toilette fines. Ca fera l'affaire en attendant que je trouve mieux, dans cette longueur puisque c'est ce qui rentrait dans mon entrée, pour pouvoir mettre un miroir au milieu. Ou alors, il fallait enlever 1 ou 2 patères... Montage facile, semble solide, mais il faut aussi signaler que les patères, quand elles sont libres, sont un peu de guingois. Bref, ça va, mais un peu déçue tout de même.

I was a bit surprised that there was assembly required with this hook as previous ones I've purchased have not required assembly. This one is bigger though, and looks sturdier.The instructions were simple to follow minus the part about where the little foam dots are meant to go. I wasn't exactly sure where the best place to put them was, so I just evenly spread them on the back. (To my recollection, this part isn't clearly shown in the instructions)I didn't use the two screws to mount the hook to the top of the door, but it does come with that option. Without the screws the hook is still securely on the door and I haven't had any issues with movement because of the foam dots.Would definitely recommend.
