They weren’t the softest at first but after a couple wears, I love them now. Nice looking and comfortable.

I found out that the Nimbus is the only ASICS shoe that is more cushy than the Cumulus. That's OK, I'll stick with the Cumulous.They are supportive, have great cushion, and the toebox isn't overly wide (good for me). Snazzy color choices in each generation help too.If your work means you stand and walk a lot, investing in quality shoes makes a world of difference. I'm not a runner, but my choice of footwear in the ASICS Cumulus is crucial in getting me through long hours on my feet.May 2023 update: I have noticed that my feet have been fatigued wearing these 2023 versions. which I never experienced in previous versions of the Cumulus. I started to suspect that I had purchased knock-offs, so I ordered a pair of 2023 Cumulus directly from ASICS.com. Well, that pair has arrived and I can't find any signs that my AMZN purchase was anything other than the genuine article. Phew! Will have to look into other reasons for the foot fatigue.

These shoes just arrived yesterday and I tried them on, while comparing them to some other shoes that I just bought. I like a lot about these shoes, but there are a issues that make me lean towards returning them. These shoes have great cushioning from heel to toe and they have an ample toe box, but there is too much padding around the heels that make them uncomfortable. The padding seems to have some give to it, which makes my heels slip up and down when I walk; particularly on the right foot, which is shorter. There is also too much pressure on the medial sides of the heels from the supportive side rails. My guess is that my heels are just too wide for the shoe. I wanted a cushioned shoe due to my right foot's tendency to supinate and I wanted extra support with that respect, but the heels of these shoes are a bit too annoying. I would go with a wider shoe to help with the heel problem, but the toe box is already a bit wide. While the sizing for the length of the shoe is pretty accurate, the width of this shoe is just strange. It is pretty roomy in the toe box, but fairly narrow in the heel. I know that some people have feet shaped like that. I always felt that my feet were like that until I put on these. That feature seems to be a bit exaggerated with this shoe, but it may work for someone else. I think it would be a great shoe for a person who supinates and has a narrower heel. However, if you size up for more room at the toes or if you have one foot that is slightly smaller than the other, you may still run into some issues with the heel of the shoe slipping up and down. Overall, these shoes are pretty nice and seem to be well made. They could be golden for the right feet.

These shoes are worth it. Don't cheapen out and get these if you work standing a lot, or use your feet a lot. These were a gift for a loved one to replace an older pair of shoes by ASICS, and they were a very nice upgrade.Would I buy it again if I could rewind the clock? Yes! They are comfortable and great for work.

So I purchased these shoes a while ago and I absolutely loved them. I use them as my gym workout shoes. Now for me I think they started tearing up way too soon, like 2-3 months in, the bottom of the shoe had the rubber stuff start coming up. Now in all fairness, my husband say I’m hard on shoes, but I box, I weight lift, I step and bike ride in them, they give me great ankle support. I’ve never had a pair of shoes do this before so idk.

Overall, I love asics shoes, they are so comfortable, although I am not a big fan of their look. But exceptionally this pair looks different and much nicer but also so comfortable. It gives my feet the support I need. Also the new style seems to be more durable. Normally the every time I buy a “traditional “ style, the sides and near the toes tear off easily. but doesn’t seem to be the case with this style and format. I am going to buy the same pair in different color maybe as my next pair!
