Emergency Mylar Blanket 54" x 80"

The blanket makes a great solar insulation for my patio door. Taped it on to the interior frame. The sun was shining into the room as I was putting it up. Immediately it made a barrier and I noticed that the sun was no longer hot and intense in the room. Since it is in my bedroom, it darkens the room slightly, which is also and advantage.

Using this to reflect sun from coming into east facing window in Honolulu. While does not equalize outside and inside heat more from conductive transfer, does reflect radiant. Very inexpensive way to keep sun out behind, say, a curtain when compared to expensive thermo curtains.

Big enough to wrap around the body but compact enough to be convenient this is a great addition to any campers equipment. Given the winter we have just endured, it might be a good idea to keep a couple in the car as well. It does a good job of insulating and conserving body heat.

I cut this up and used it to line the inside of a box for the outdoor kittens to keep the kittens warm
