What a difference this simple stick makes!!
Needed to address my sloppy transmission in my 2018 JKU. Came really close to selling and getting a JL. I tried this based upon reviews and blogs. Was not sure what a difference a simple stick can make. AllI can say is WOW!!! It now shifts crispy, much like a bolt action rifle. The throws are shorter and the “slop” is gone. The hardest part was removal of the stock shifter. I sprayed Liquid Wrench and let it sit for a couple hours. I then used a vise grip on the shaft and gently tapped with a hammer. My only regret is that did not install this sooner.

So much fun to drive
This shifter lever is expensive but made a world of difference in my ‘06 Jeep TJ with the NSG370 6 speed. Paired it with a Speed Dawg shift knob and absolutely love it.

Amazing
Was unsure how just changing out factory crappy Jeep shifter stick for this one would make a difference especially considering the cost. But wow glad I did no play in stick shifts tight and smooth. Is like driving a whole different vehicle the factory shifter with the rubber mounting point is garbage. Highly recommend this product very very suprised at how great it it highly recommend this for any Jeep with the 6spd tranny. I installed on 2013 wrangler

Say goodbye to sloppy shifting!
I got tired of watching my shifter wiggling around and the way shifting felt sloppy ( JK with 6 spd). I was going to buy this shifter and the short shifting box, but read a online review that said to try the shifter first before buying the short shift box. Sure enough the shifter itself took care of the issue. The shifts are very positive but not so tight you feel like you're shift an dragster. As others have mentioned, construction is solid, I can shift into reverse without hitting the passengers leg, and the knob is a tad small ( the B&M transfer case shifter is bigger, go figure) but the knob can be easily replaced, if it's overly annoying. I'm really happy with the purchase and don't have to worry about missing a gear when I'm making panic shifts while off road :)

Absolute garbage shifter
I purchased and installed one this last summer and 5 weeks later the through bolt that keeps the stick mounted in the assembly just snapped while I was driving. The stick now just spun in place. I was on a road trip through the north end of Vancouver Island with nowhere to get a replacement so had to drive like that for a week. One time I shifted into 2nd and the whole stick just slid out in my hand and I had to rip the boot off to get the stick back in on so I could drive.I figured it was a defect and reurned it as well as ordered a replacement. 5 weeks later the same bolt snapped in half again! Amazon's return policy is 30 days so I can't get it replaced and B&M says they won't honor their year warranty becuase I should return it through amazon which won't take it back now that 30 days are up.I'm out $300 with no help from either company.
