Less is more, Heat It Up First
Good, but a bit too hard as opposed to Kiwi's neutral. It didn't meld well into my rag or the pores of the leather until I hit it with the heat gun. It was kinda chunky. As a result I ended up putting to much neutral on my dress shoes and when the neutral cooled it was white wax in every little crevice and stitch of my shoes, took me several minutes and finding the correct brush with the right stiffness to dislodge it without damaging my shoes.

Just the Ticket!
Item:PRO-Great rejuvenating product. Does not polish don't expect a shine.-It's all about the screw on top.- I've used the product for 3 months and the paste is as good as the day I opened it.CON-I haven't found any problems.

Considerably Better Than Kiwi
I've used Kiwi for most of my life and it's been fine. Periodically, it's useful to branch out and try new things. In this case the "old" (Lincoln) is the "new". I like this stuff. It applies so thin, you'll wonder if any is coming out of the tin at all. Likely the reason for the thin application is the polish has a carnauba wax base. Carnauba, at room temperature, is extremely hard and durable unless exposed to high heat. Application with a large tuft of cotton wadding is a good tac.I applied it recently to two, new, expensive belts. Each belt received three heavy applications of mink oil and under these circumstances, it wouldn't be unusual to not get a good sheen (shine) when finishing with a good polish. Not so with the Lincoln. Three coats of mink oil and two finish coats of Lincoln (neutral) and both belts have a better shine and overall appearance than what was delivered by the belt-maker.I take care of my leather. Treating it well means a lifetime of service. Not that Kiwi is bad - it isn't. But the Lincoln is just a notably better product. For those complaining about how brittle (dry) it gets in the tin, a hot hair dryer or a little time resting on a warm electric burner suitably addresses concerns. A little pricey perhaps but a little goes a long way. And I just applied it to my wallet ... the shine is brilliant.Lincoln set a new standard (for me) when caring for my leatherwork. Oh, by the way, "Fiebing's Mink Oil Paste" is outstanding stuff. Leather soaks it up immediately .. it's non-greasy and helps meaningfully, in the break-in (and protection) of new-leather goods.

good product
i was surprised that it did such a good job on my favorite older shoe.! it isn't a liquid or even a soft paste (which may mean that it won't harden up like most). it goes on smoothly and does an amazing job! a winner!
