We have small bird feeders on each one of these. Works very good, but will still lean a little. Tried a small live plant and three days later, the entire hook and plant were on the ground. If you know where you are going to keep it, I would suggest digging a hole, put some mortar mix in the hole, insert hook making sure it is level in all directions. Then it will hold a 15 to 20 pound plant. We have one that has an 8" pot filled with flowers hanging on one like this for over a month now and it is still holding firmly.

The pole is much stronger than I expected and remains very stable in the ground. The gripping forks are strong and thick. It took my son quite a few hops on them to get them into the ground. It is tall and I am short, so my tall son has to attach the bird feeder to it for me! But that's a good thing - the birds appreciate the height. An excellent product at a good price.

This is sturdy, easy to assemble and looks like it will withstand the strong winds we can get.

This is a great quality shepherd's hook. The diameter is thick. The 5 prongs hold it firmly into the ground. We like that we can choose from several different heights.

Very nice and seems very sturdy. I bought the 76in and after setting it up, it's very short. After placing into thr ground, the height is only 66in. In the pictures, you can see it holds the bird feeder/house very nicely and withstood a medium winds. I need to add two more poles but can't seem to order them. Soooo, I bought a 2nd one because I can't trust that height to keep it away from the smart squirrels. I will recommend this one to anyone who needs it.

We're had trouble with squirrels getting to our suet feeder, and this 76" tall unit, coupled with a squirrel baffle, shows great promise. It assembled easily, and I had it installed and in the ground in under 1/2 hour! Steel construction promises to afford it a long life. I give it 5 stars all around!! I think the product is tops.

So pleased with purchase, very strong and arrived in sections that are easily screwed together. I used all of the sections.Only took a few days before birds arrived feeding from feeder I purchased seperately.
