This item can hold my hair like most other big hair clips but it is elegant and not heavy. I like it.

I love these hair clips but I received both the same clips, didn't get the pink one.....will keep what I have since I like them (and in case 1 breaks) and it really is too much trouble to return.

Both Barrettes were beautiful and easy to wear. Their color is great and goes with a lot.

I have been burned too many times by beautiful barrettes that spring open when you try to fit more than ten hairs in them, so I was wary of these. First of all, they are SO pretty with sparkles and texture galore and every stone and shiny bit set firmly in its place on the metal base. This is not a pair of matching barrettes, but one in shades of black/grey and the other in blue-grey/pale pink. I loved their look the minute I set eyes on them, but was still skeptical about the holding power of the barrette itself. Let me tell you, these guys hold a LOT of hair! They're probably not going to hold an entire updo without some help from a bobby pin, but I can easily put all of my hair in a low ponytail with one. My hair is halfway down my back, it's fine but there is a lot of it. I have yet to have one of these pop open on me. Because of the nature of the metal that holds the stones, you want to avoid bending the barrette too much, but you shouldn't have to: these are pretty robust and made for people who are actually trying to fit a substantial amount of hair in them. If you are hesitant because of the price, don't be. They work well and are really beautiful!

These are lovely barrettes -- the design is quite intricate with delicate metal scroll-work and charmingly detailed flowers + rhinestone accents. One of the barrettes features beautiful pink and metallic blue flowers and the other grey and black flowers. Each barrette has six flowers with rhinestone centers -- there are three flowers in each color. Each flower is made up of five individually pieced petals. The lighter colors really stand out against the darker colors and additional rhinestones highlight the lacy design of the metal.The barrettes are just over 3" in length, so they are fairly small but they do hold a surprising amount of hair. It can accommodate all of my hair, although this might not be the case for those with thick hair. I have very fine hair and this type of barrette just slides right out unless I have curled my hair, which I haven't been doing very often since the pandemic started and I am spending so much time at home. If my hair is not curled, I have to use the barrettes with a ponytail holder or a couple of strategically placed bobbie pins to get them to stay in place. The barrettes have the French style of closure with a movable fastener that snaps into place to hold the hair securely and is released by squeezing each side of the stationary clasp. In my experience, this type of closure mechanism doesn't hold up very well unless treated with TLC. That's the business side of the barrette. On the other hand, the decorated side of the barrette is well made and feels durable. The current price of these beautiful heirloom-look barrettes is $14.99 and I think they are well worth it.

These two barrettes are well made and pretty. They are very detailed and all the stones are solidly attached. They are comfortable to wear and I like their delicate and feminine look. Nice!Thank you for reading this review. Enjoy your day! 😉

These clips are beautiful!! You get two for $15, so that’s $7.50 a piece, which is very reasonable to me. You can see the size in my hand. These are lovely for a teenager or an adult’s head. It would be too large on a younger child. (I know, as I have twin 11 year olds.) my 16 year old could handle it, and myself, but it’s too much on them, in my opinion.These are blingy and lovely! The attention to detail and craftsmanship is incredible for the money!! Definitely a purchase that you can feel safe in. I don’t see any way to be disappointed with these.5 stars for these stunners!
