Fibre feast!
I rarely review things but I'm making an exception for these terrific Bol soups/meals.As a meat-head guy, I've always struggled to get enough fibre in my diet but these Bol products contain typically 25g+ per pot with some as high as 36g of fibre! That's an amazing boost for my diet with all sorts of positive knock-on effects re blood sugar/diabetes, blood pressure, gut health and, yes, even mental health (fibre digestion creates Butyric Acid).I'm surprised Bol promote the protein content over the fibre content - I expect that's to attract the veggies amongst us but for meat-heads like me the fibre is way more important. This is great stuff - I haven't found one I didn't like yet and they're really very good value for a proper "diet fix" at c£3 each.Well done Bol!

Yummy
I think this Dal is lovely. It has the coconut taste come true and of the best readymade food I eaten so far. Also this is very filling and the amount given is a nice portion. I got two and it fed 4 of us with naan bread. You can get a lemon on the side if you want fresh flavour or add chillies if you crave for heat. Yeah it is mild, but nice how it is too.

Lovely
I usually get the Soulful OnePots, which are similar to these, but decided to give Bol a try.Unlike some other Bol products these are packed with flavour and a nice surprise for a healthy vegetarian ready meal. They suffer slightly for being quite sloppy, but that's the same for Soulful's version and at least it's addressed somewhat here by the addition of chunky potatoes.

Bol locks
Great for vegans as turmeric seems to be the only flavour.

As someone who cooks daal, this is good.
I always cook tarka daal when I have the time. Usually use a pressure cooker to cook the lentils and then add it to fried spices. I came across this pot and thought why not give it a try when I want a break in cooking. Now most daals I have tried in restaurants generally add less salt and the same was with this pot. That is not an issue as I have got used to adding more on top of what I get. The taste of this daal was really good and satisfactory. On a cold day, it's a comfortable food to warm you up and I will definitely buy some more pots when I can't be asked to cook from scratch. It has got a different taste as compared to a daal from northern part of India, but I enjoyed it for what it is.
