Works well. Seems durable so far. Had it running about 5 hrs/day for a couple weeks and did not have any problems. The 1/5 HP is PLENTY strong for a medium sized inflatable yard decoration. I used it on a small-ish inflatable and I had to leave the zipper open a little but it worked. The only drawback is it is kind of loud. We had it set up outside about 8 feet from the front door and we could hear it from the entryway when it was running. It wasn't really a problem for us so I would buy another the next time one of my inflatable fans fails.

I wasn't sure it would blow enough air to sustain my huge Halloween inflatable but it worked like a charm. I ran it for 38 days straight through all kinds of weather and it hasn't failed me yet.

Bought this for an entirely different purpose that inflating toys. Specifically, my treadmill motor was overheating when I turned up the belt speed, motor was reaching over 165°. I bought this Soleaire SAYB-02 (1/5 HP model) in the hope I could direct enough CONCENTRATED air on the treadmill motor to cool it down a bit. A standard desk fan would not do the job - yes I tried that first. The Soleaire does the job nicely, motor now runs 30° cooler when under my (heavy) loading. This will help prolong the treadmill motor life for sure.Downside (sort of) is that the Soleaire is noisy. This is not a big deal for me as I wear headphones when on the 'mill so its not a giant factor, but, if you plan on using this indoors for any purpose you need to know the air rushing out of the blower is rather loud.

I am really disappointed with this blower. It's clearly described as having a 1/5 HP Motor, but it does NOT. It has a 1/10 HP motor (see attached photo from the motor-plate - Note ".1 HP" which is 1/10th. With 1/5 HP I could fill my sails and set to sea, but with 1/10, I may do nothing. See the additional photo of the fallen gravestone and the ghost who could not stand up. What is frustrating is that I had to cut the wire to remove the proprietary light connector, and thus, stand no likely chance in being able to return this. Oh, for a 1/5 HP Motor!

May be odd but I bought this as a sleeping fan to go on a mission trip. It was perfect as it was loud enough to drown out the roosters in Haiti and the added benefit is its much smaller and lighter then the traditional small fans. Being very small means it took up very little space in my backpack and was very light. The benefit of this from a "personal fan" standpoint is that I just needed direct wind blowing across me as I slept. A traditional fan blows a much wider span which I did not need wasted air. Also in 3rd world countries if you are lucky enough to have electricity it usually comes from a generator which has varying power drops and surges none of which affected this fan. Very pleased and highly recommended for something it wasn't even built for.

Did not work for me. Returned.

Product does what it’s supposed to. Price was very reasonable.
