This is a good quality product in a very useful size. I like the tighter mesh density compared to most products that have much larger holes. The low-rating reviews have noted loose knots and cheap hooks that break as problems, but neither is an issue for me. The net I received was very well and uniformly knotted. No problem at all with loosening. The hooks are plastic but seem strong enough for intended use - securing loose stuff. I could see these hooks breaking if you pulled on them too hard. The weak spot is at the smaller hook that clips onto the bungee cords themselves. If you tried to stretch this beyond its limits, those would likely be first place to break. Again, they seem plenty strong for intended use but be aware of size and don't try to stretch this across the entire bed of your pickup truck or over the top of a 3-foot stack of boxes - it is simply not that big. If you limit yourself to a reasonable stretch (see the answered questions) it should be fine. The fine mesh does mean the pull as you stretch it out is higher than a net with larger holes simply because, the finer the mesh, the more bungee cords you are pulling on. I specifically wanted a smaller size net and this is perfect for my needs. I ordered my first net to use as a dog gate in the back of my Jeep and it works perfectly. I installed extra D-ring anchor points on each side of the vehicle for the hooks to grab and now I have a quick up, quick down, easy stow dog gate instead of a rattle-trap metal gate that's a pain to install, remove and store. I was impressed so I ordered a second to actually use as a cargo net.

This cargo net is fantastic! It spans the width of my camper van, and pulls tighter just by attaching a few more loops to the back of the hooks. It's also a heavy, sturdier mesh than I was anticipating. I store bedding and a pillow on this net which I have suspended from the ceiling and it doesn't obstruct my view. Definitely recommend!

I purchased this net to go with the "Highland 1041900 U-Venture Steel Rooftop Cargo Basket" recently purchased from Amazon. As hoped, this net is a perfect fit for this size roof rack. We have used it this college football season to transport a 10x10 pop-up tent and four folding chairs to our pregame tailgate party. If we were to add more items or bulkier items, we would probably have to use some small bungees to have it fit. However, in my view I'd rather have a net that fits well for a small to medium load instead of being too big for anything but a large load.In terms of the criticism of the hooks, I can see where that comes from. They are not particularly heavy duty. We haven't broken one, but I would guess that will happen eventually. The netting is really, really good so to me it would be worth buying a few metal hooks to augment the included ones.

Net worked very well. Very well made. Perfect size for a sleeping bag and tent on the bike. Only issue I had was the hooks will sometimes fall off when not hooked to something with tension. Easily lost. Would be nice if they were clips instead of just loops on the net.

The plastic clips are fine, but I added locking carribeaners to really hold it down and deter theft of opportunity. Worked in a 3' x 5' trailer just fine

This is a nice product. I was looking for a cargo net that would fit our Can Am Commander. It has a fairly larger bed and none of the ones meant for motorcycles were big enough. This fits perfect, the hooks fit on the rails ok and elsewhere. It is a heavy cord and has a close mess that will hold things securely and not allow things to escape through the mesh. Hooks can be removed at attached elsewhere if needed. Very good price, especially if compared to the OEM net.

Used this today on my ice fishing sled and I must say it worked great and kept everything together. . I did purchase the smaller size and it was very small and wouldn’t stretch, so I sent it back. Refunded very quickly and thankful for that.
