Special Lite Products Horizon Horizontal Mailbox SHH-1006SW, Swedish Silver,

Bought this mailbox in 2014 and it still looks great (photo added was take today in 2018)! Easily attached to our vinyl siding, and the silver color is both modern and rustic. Can be a bit loud if I accidentally slam it, but I think that would be the case with most of these types of mailboxes. Even filled to the top with mail, it hasn't moved of came off. Really happy with my purchase!

Just got this in the mail today and love it! Good quality and pretty style and finish, goes perfectly with our house. My husband installed it in about 15 minutes- he took the back off first and that seemed to have worked really slick, definitely would recommend!

It looks exactly as pictured and it's perfect for my covered porch. Installation was a breeze. The lid aligns fine with the box edges but does clank when it closes, probably because of the heavier grade of the metal. I figure that's my "You got mail" signal. :) Adhesive-back 3" die cut house numbers fit perfectly within the raised area on the face.

The color in the picture is inaccurate for Swedish silver. It should just be called brushed Silver. The picture looks almost bronze or burnished copper in the picture. What I received doesn’t look anything like this color. That being said, it is a lovely color just not what I was anticipating. I will send it back and try again.

Don't really understand all the positive reviews, the quality of this mailbox comes up short for the price. I was looking to replace a steel mailbox that let in rain. The fit and finish of this is suspect and the style, just meh.This is a thin gauge, two-piece metal box with gaps at the top and on the sides (doesn't look like I'd be getting away from soggy mail with this) and nothing lining the lid so it's loud when it closes. Disappointing, and it cost me $9 to ship it back to Amazon, to boot..

Wanted a nice sturdy mailbox which is hard to find in the big box stores. This is heavy, attractive looking. Love it and know it will last for a long time.

It's a perfect size and shape! I ordered the Brown mailbox first and then changed my mind and ordered the Bronze. The other color actually matches the front of my house better than the Brown -- which I will be returning. It's well made, stylish and easy to get into, unlike some of the other mailboxes I've tried. Good job Special Lite Products!!

Terribly disapponted. I searched everywhere for my "perfect" mailbox. Fell in love when I saw this and the price wasn't bad. Has been up for about a week and when the mailman placed mail in it today, the side broke. Felt a little cheap when I received it but really hoped it would work. Guess I'll be searching again.
