Since they do not have hooks at the top I placed a small nail in the bottom of each frame to keep them from sliding down. They fit well and that probably won't be a problem but better safe than sorry.

Nicely made with smooth costing of wax that covered well. Even had corners on one side perforated for easy removal to provide more bee space.

I haven't used them yet, but the construction is well done and I believe will provide excellent frame for my bees.

I reviewed some deep frame starters from this company as well and when feeding a 1:1 sugar water ratio, my bees drew out 9 frames of comb in a week so this starter works great. I will be buying more.

I purchased about 20 of these foundations both online & at a farm supply store near my house. The Acorn brand has a lot more wax than the ones from other bee companies. I'll continue to purchase them from Acorn because of this.

After 2 weeks bees still not building comb on this foundation . I will re-coat with beeswax and spray with sugar water to try again ?
