DII Buffalo Check Collection Rustic Farmhouse Throw Blanket with Tassles, 50x60, Black/White

It came with black smudges on it that took two washes to get out. Then I tried to wash it two more times, putting it through dryer 4 times, but it still leaves behind a red film all over everything; on the couch, on my clothes, and even the floor, just from opening it up to put in on my lap while sitting on the couch. I keep hoping it will eventually stop, but it may not be worth the wait or effort. Oh, and you will have to clean the inside of your washer and dryer each time. Do not wash or dry with other items.

Blanket is good for the money, especially as I’ve looked everywhere for this pattern! However if your looking for a soft blanket, this isn’t for you! If more for decoration than it’s good! The blanket is a rougher type material! Was a little upset that it’s come with red marks on the white, almost stained or it’s been made with a bit of red material by accident! Hopefully that helps :)

You know that perfect picnic blanket you always imagined as a kid? This is it. This is THE picnic blanket you dreamed about. The red and white checkers is obviously what brought you here, but when this thing arrives and you hold it in your hands... Is it soft? Absolutely not. Comfortable for reading a book? Oh my god, no. It’s thick (keeps the dewy grass at bay), a bit scratchy (in that lovely, “rustic” way), but that’s what makes it perfect. I just bought it as a photo prop, but it will be a picnic staple in our house for years!

I bought 8 of these so I could embroider family names on them for Christmas gifts. They weren't as soft as I expected, which was fine but they smell like an old grandma's house. Even after letting them air out a week before wrapping them they just stunk. IDK if that's the smell of mothballs or what but just gross. Also, there were a few out of the 8 that had slight flaws. Where a line of red should be it was an extra line of black because I think maybe they ran out of the color and had to weave another color in. 3 out of 8 had that.

When it arrived, it had the smell of jute, so i threw it in a cold water wash. It washed beautifully and came out softer. I dont use fabric softner, but had I do t this, it would have been even nicer I expect. It wasnt navy, but a mid blue, so not what I was expecting, but still quite nice. For the price, I’m happy with it.
