The kit arrived quickly, contained all the promised items, and worked as intended. The screen looks great now (possibly even better than before) and it wasn't as complicated as I expected to perform the repair - just be willing to look up a video and learn how to do it - as long as you're careful then everything should go well!

This kit comes with everything you need to replace the screen. With readily available videos and guides, plenty of patience and a good magnifying glass (those screws are TINY!), I had the screen replaced in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the first kit was defective, but the seller replaced it promptly when notified. The second kit has no issues and is virtually indistinguishable from the factory screen. One tip - as you remove the screws, DOCUMENT where they were positioned. There are several different screw sizes and putting the wrong length screws in the wrong places can lead to logic board damage. I simply drew a diagram on a sheet of notebook paper and placed the screws in their positions on the diagram as I removed them. I'd also recommend doing this in an area where a dropped screw can be easily found. Inevitably, you'll lose one or two as you're trying to put them back in -- and if they get caught in the nap of your carpet, you'll regret it. With that said, you can't go wrong with this kit. I'm more than pleased with the end result.

The kit had all equipment shown. Quality was good. Instructions were not included. Instructions are easily available on the web but they are not geared towards this specific kit. This kit did the job, though it took me about 3 hours as a first timer due to incomplete instructions on the web requiring me to tear down and rebuild a couple times. Now I imagine one hour would do it. A couple recommendations: 1. with this kit be sure to remove the red backing on the screen before install. 2. The most difficult part was re-seating the digitizer and LCD ribbons. Test the touchscreen and LCD view before you put the screen down into the case. Simply turn the unit on and try it before sealing it. The home button will not work until the unit is all back together. 3. Be patient and methodical. Work in a clean space where dropped screws can be found 4. I was very nervous of breaking the home screen button membrane. I ended up heating it some with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive. 5. DON"T BUY THIS KIT! Many are available for very similar price perhaps from the same seller that include the home button and camera making the install much, much easier and probably only 15 minutes long. I didn't know they were available until I already had this one in hand.

So far the repair appears to have worked fine, and I didn't experience any problems with the process. I'm only giving this three stars because I just did the installation today, and I want to see how the product performs over time; plus, there were no installation instructions included for what can be a complicated process.Note that this repair kit includes only two connectors, but all the repair videos I've watched show three. The third one will be re-used, as seen in the video link. This video [...]shows what you need to do better than some others, based on the components that come with this repair kit. The one thing mentioned on this video that you don't have to do is remove the little rubber pieces for the camera and another part, as they are already included on the new part.I do recommend, as others have, placing the parts on a white sheet of paper in the same position in which you find them on the phone. This will help because some of the screws for the same piece are different sizes.

No way. Find a different cheap one. This is the second cheap screen I have installed and now this one will not function after about 8 words on a text message, then the screen will become un able to navigate with the touch screen. This thing will drive you crazy.I use this as my spare phone that I do use daily for my car shop and it is not worth spending anymore time trying to lock and unlock and lock and unlock to see if the touch screen works. Long story short Im going to cancel one of my phone lines and just use my iphone 7 plus.It looks great and installed easy but it is junk.No way, find a different cheap one.

Put my old broken one back on and it looked fine.Edit: since the touch screen works I figured I'd put the defective screen back on so at least I could text a little or make a call in the mean time, the force of pushing the screen into place broke it even more, now about 2/3rds of the screen is blacked out.UPDATE: I received a replacement at no charge, not even shipping, within 2 or 3 days. Shipping was amazing and customer service is phenomenal. The new screen is better than my friends original iPhone 6 screen, mine has whiter whites and just looks amazing, and the screen protector is an amazing touch. Thanks for the awesome customer service!
