Acculoop Precision Round Nose | PLR-741.00

Finally, no more having to use a Sharpie to mark, and remark, my Round Nose pliers. And the 1 3/4" tines are plenty long for a wider array of size markings. Each nose is a different diameter which is how Acculoop fits 7 size markings on the pliers with plenty of room between the markings.I agree with others who would have preferred the marking all the way around the noses, but I suspect the lines on the interior would wear off quickly due to the pressure of the wire being held there so I'll let that slide. Plus the marking wraps around the sides enough so I can still see the line when placing the wire onto the marked line. However, my "scientific" logic of why there are no interior markings does not explain the lack of markings on the exterior of the larger diameter nose. Hmmm...

Saw these being used on a YouTube video and thought it would be a great addition to my roundnose pliers. What I LOVE: Having clear markings in mm on them, and having two different sizes on one pair of pliers! I used to just use a marker on my pliers but marker always wear off, so I’m trying these. Only CON is they’re heavy; heavier than I thought they’d be.

It's about time someone made a pair of pliers that have the marks right on them! Fantastic idea! No more marking with a sharpie! However, for me, this product comes up short. I don't understand why they made measurement marks on just the one side of the tool. If the markings encircled the whole way around, when I twist the wire to the backside, I would know I am still on the line. Not only that but, on some projects I will be using the pliers the opposite way. Bad mistake in my opinion. Also they are a bit heavier than some of my regularly used round nose pliers, thus more fatigue to the hand and wrist. I so wanted to love these. Euro Tool are good quality brand, and this is a good quality tool, just not thought through. I hope they will come out with one with the markings complete around the pliers, That would give it 4 stars. If they could lighten up the weight, that would be 5 stars.

They are perfect and just what I needed.

I use this all the time now that I have it. I always had to guess where the right spot was on my round nose pliers before. No more guessing now. I saw it on You-Tube Jewel School. Every time I see a new product on those videos I must have it. I'm glad I got this one.

The markings are on the back and front but not the sides. That is ok for me because once the tool is rotated you will get back on mark. I find it very helpful and am happy to pay this price. Others I have seen cost much more. The size range is good starting at 2mm up to 8mm.

Great tool just had to get use to using it.

I am with one of the previous reviews. The tool was too heavy for delicate jewelry making or even simple loops. It is also larger than most wire looping tools. The markings are usable, but would have been better on both sides. Euro Tools usually makes a pretty good product, this one, not so much. I gave the tool away.
