Good but heavy.
It is heavier than my old shower head. Because of the weight it doesn't stay in a high position.

Great for water conservation
For this shower head to be so good as saving water it’s also really good at utilizing what it gives you. Very powerful head

Revised review following pleas from the seller. No discernable difference in chlorine or hardness
I have received several emails from the seller asking me to remove this review and images of the test strips with an offer of a refund or replacement if I did so. I have not received either the refund or replacement but out of some sympathy for the seller I will make additional comments (and trust they will honour their offer of sending a replacement - or even better an improved filter). The hand-shower is a reasonably well made and effective shower head. It compares well to a non-filtered shower and, at the price gives a good shower, without considering the ability to filter chlorine or hardness. I suspect this particular filter is as effective, if not more so, than other hand-shower filters on offer on Amazon. The real issue is that all these hand-shower filters are just too small to adequately remove chlorine and calcium at the same time as giving a sufficient flow of water for a nice shower. If you are looking for a hand-shower that filters this is probably as good as possible with the limitations of size and flow.I think that if you are prepared to have a normal shower and at the end of your shower turn the tap right down to a trickle, the water produced should have slightly reduced chlorine and calcium, and you will be able to rinse off some of the chemicals - but don't expect miracles. Finally, I think it is wrong of Amazon to allow sellers to make unsubstantiated claims without verification - the headline for this product is that it removes 99% of chlorine and hardness - this is a false claim. Amazon has a responsibility to ensure marketing claims on its site, and from which it earns commissions, are true.Original review:I think this did work for the first week or so but I have now had it for three weeks (one shower per day). Have a look at attached water test strips. The two on the right are for the shower water with no filter and with the filter - they are exactly the same indicating the filter is doing nothing. I have included test strips taken from my Reverse Osmosis drinking water filter on the left that show reductions in pH, hardness and chlorine.

I tested the water chemistry. Chlorine: 0
I'm an environmental engineer specialized on water treatment systems and water chemistry. I tested the water for free residual chlorine. Result: <0.01 mg/l, which means that the chlorine in the water is so low that is undetectable by the certified testing device. I used Palintest Pooltest 6 colorimeter. This shower head filter does it's job. Nice and simple design, easy to install, easy to clean. I'm very sensitive to chlorine, I get skin rushes very easily and chlorine also damages my hair. Without water filtration I suffered a lot. This shower head is easy to install therefore can be carried if someone travels a lot like me who works on cruise ships where the water is chlorinated due to public health requirements. This shower head doesn't require any tools to install, but the other shower filters the "UFO" types (I just call them this way due to their shapes) need tools that people normally don't carry in their travelbags. They are very good ones, but a bit more complicated to install I have tested earlier the efficiency of another shower head filter that had ceramic balls as filters and promised some C vitamin treatment (???). I could detect chlorine in the water, but not with this shower head filter that use active carbon filtration.
