Perfect for my closet
This set is super easy to assemble and is fairly sturdy. I have my clothes stacked in it inside my closet and have had no problems in the last several months. Really happy with this purchase.

Good unit for square fabric storage boxes
Before I purchased this metal mesh storage unit, I read all the one star and two star reviews. Most of them stated that the unit was hard to put together, or was flimsy. Granted, the assembly was a tedious job, but if you followed the instructions, and did it right, the unit went together just fine. I had a little difficulty at first, but that was before I read the entire instruction manual. Once I knew what to do, it all went smoothly. Tapping each connection with the little wooden hammer made all the difference in the world. When I was finished, I was able to pick up the unit of eight square sections and carry it to it's intended spot. Another complaint I read in several other reviews said that it wasn't sturdy enough. If you read the ad correctly, you will discover that they limit the weight allowance for each square as no more than eleven pounds. Some stated that their books made the unit collapse. How many books do you think would weigh less than a pound each? These units are made for light weight items, such as sweaters, or towels. I ordered mine to hold my many skeins of yarn, and it is holding them just fine. When you purchase an item, use it as it intended and you will most likely be satisfied. This unit fit in my budget very well, and is suiting me for the purpose I had in mind. I gave it four stars because it isn't the best item of its kind, but it functions well for me.

A Great Buy!
I was a little hesitant to order this shelving unit since there's split reviews. But it's perfect for me! I have had other wire shelves similar and they were awful to put together. This unit was easy and simple, it even came with a little wooden mallet to hammer in the joints tight. Everything clicked together as it should. And you can configure it any way you want/need. It also comes with a line of hooks you can hang on the side of it.I use it in my crafting room to store my yarn. I love it! I can see and access everything I need. This shelving is sturdy enough to handle heavier objects as well - although I wouldn't go putting tons of books on it. It can definitely hold some weight, though. Best for medium to light storage.

Useful, versatile, good for what they are
These aren't the thickest or strongest shelves of this type out there, the wire is a bit thinner than others, but they do the job for light duty organization. I wouldn't use them for book shelves or heavy items, but for closets, office supplies, crafting supplies, kitchen etc. they do the job well enough. You do have to take into consideration the size of the connectors when you're measuring where and how they will fit. Putting them together did require the little hammer, but was otherwise fairly easy for one person (although that person does have experience and basic building knowledge and strong hands.) We didn't realize the first time around that we needed to pay attention to which way the interior wires are attached to the exterior frame, for strength reasons, so had to re-do a few. This type of wire shelf is a pain to clean, if it's in an area that will get dirty/greasy and the connectors can and do loosen over time, especially if it gets very hot and/or you're re-building it a lot. This brand does work with most of the standard fabric 11x11 boxes too and you can also purchase extra connectors from the same company. Overall, good for light duty organization, especially if you're on the move and/or living in rental spaces. Also, so far, these are frequently on sale and all of my purchases over time have fit together, as long as I remember to buy the C&A brand.

a little pricey but pretty good!
this is the third modular cube system i’ve put together in the last few weeks, different kinds from different brands but all are put together the same way. this particular one was used to hold craft supplies and fabric.pros:• comes together fast• can be customized to fit any area• easier to assemble than others• the pieces fit in the connectors without a lot of force.cons:• comes apart just as easily as it comes together if you try to move it after assembly.• the connector pieces have the brands logo on it, which is totally unnecessary and makes it impossible to buy extras that match.• the mallet is also a total joke.• price on par with better quality products. this one should be $10-$20 cheaper than it is, for the quality it ended up being.• no wall anchors included.luckily i had legit mallets left over from the other cube systems i purchased. the one that comes w it weighs nothing and the head swivels around. instead of the unsightly logos on the connector pieces, they should have put that time and money into tighter connector pieces, and mallets that actually work. i think this system will hold up for what i’m using it for, but it was almost as expensive as the better/nicer cube system i purchased (greenstell brand). it was okay for what i needed it for, but i wouldn’t buy it again.p.s. i kept mine only three rows high due to my slanty wall/ceiling but i don’t think i would be comfortable making this a tall structure. it’s not quite sturdy enough. if you do make it tall, ANCHOR IT. of course anchors are not included in this set.
