Blood Tsunami never quite managed to knock me off my feet with their first two albums. Good albums, and I always considered myself a fan, but something was missing.When they released the video for the track 'Metal Fang', I wasn't sure. It's certainly rawer, and Petes vocals have changed alot in the 4 years since their last album. But I wasn't sure if I liked it. Turns out I love it! With 10 songs over a mere 31 minutes, there are (thankfully) no 12-minute instrumentals to be found here. The lyrics mostly concern themselves with serial killers and other nastiness of human invention (Krokodil, anyone?). The album kicks of with 'The Butcher of Rostov', a song about Andrei Chikatilo, and never lets up, through blistering songs like 'Dogfed', 'The Rape of Nanking' and 'B.T.K.'. And then there's 'Unholy Nights', a blazing tribute to the now defunct Unholy metal bar in Oslo, Norway. It's essentially just describing the atmosphere in the bar on a saturday night and namedropping a bunch of cool bands, but it actually made me miss my hometown of Oslo so much that I had to book a flight to go for a few days (during which, I'll be seeing Blood Tsunami). So, if you like your thrash metal raw and nasty; this one is a sure bet. Blood Tsunami have gone from being a good band to being a great band, and they did it by making simpler music, I'm sure there's a lesson to be learnt somewhere, but I can't be buggered to look for it. Just crank it up to 12, grab a beer and and bang your head until your neck can't take anymore!

元EMPERORのファウスト(ds）さん在籍の3rd。前作までに比べてVoのシャウトに勢いが出てきたり、切れっきれのリフも多数あり聴いててとても爽快！＋ファウストさんのEMPEROR在籍時から変わらないドタバタ感がとても気持ちいい！

謎のハードコア路線。曲、歌メロ、リフ、全てが単調で退屈になった。1stアルバムのような路線を期待するとガッカリします。お蔵入り決定。
