Excellent choice
These shears are a perfect size for trimming a small dog. They are excellent quality and very sharp. For top quality shears, the price is more than reasonable. I wish I had bought curved shears a long time ago.UPDATE 10/27/17 This is amazing! Our house burned down in the big Santa Rosa fires...it melted my car and most of everything, but we found these shears in the rubble. They are covered with rust, but the mechanism is smooth and they are really sharp.

Excellent shear for a modest price
Love these shears. Bought them as an alternative to the more expensive Roseline shears that cut beautifully but are extremely easy to knock out of balance. Wanted something a little more rugged to stand up to lots of grooming. I've been using these shears for several weeks now, and they are just what I was hoping for. Well balanced, good cutting edge and passed the first accidental drop test with flying colors. I do notice that the curve on these shears is a little closer to the tip than I'm used to, even for a 6 1/2" shear. Great for shaping paws and blending/beveling, but not much blade left for quick trim ups on long edges. I'm going to try some straights next.

I have medium-sized hands and find these shears easy to balance and comfortable on my fingers
These shears have proved ideal for grooming poodles. I have medium-sized hands and find these shears easy to balance and comfortable on my fingers. The curved blade does the work for me on the contours of the dog's body. They are very sharp. Caution is required. I brushed against the blade with my hand and cut myself.

they fit perfect for small hands
i love their size, the way they fit in my small hands and how because they fit so well, my hands don’t get tired or cramps while i’m using them, which makes me work with more assurance when grooming anxious pups

Nicely Balanced and Ergo Friendly
I bought this size as the last pair were too long for my small dogs. I have used them a few times already on my 2 senior Pomeranians and they work very well. Nicely balanced and rather ergo friendly too!

Cuts so smooth!
Just got these today and already impressed. I groomed a yorkie earlier and they worked so much better than my last pair. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the size of the finger holes. Maybe it’s pretty standard but my last pair didn’t have the rubber pieces inside, so these just seemed smaller.

Great shears!!
I'm so glad I bought these scissors. After using no-so-great scissors for my new puppy's first haircut, I knew I needed to upgrade. The curved shears are a MUST for creating a smooth, professional-looking haircut. I found them incredibly useful and helpful for trimming his legs, belly/chest/tail, and face/ears. These shears are wonderfully sharp from base to tip. They also come in a nice leather pouch. I am pleased and would highly recommend!

Sharp Scissors, But My Cockapoo Doesn’t Like Them
I purchased these scissors to clip my cockapoo puppy’s face, but she won’t let me get near her after the first clip or two. She doesn’t like the sound. I had to learn to clip her face with my electric clippers, which was no easy task. I thought she’d be scared of them, but she tolerates the clippers. I’m keeping the scissors in the hopes I’ll be able to use them when she’s older, as I’d like to use the scissors to also trim around her feet for a more finished look.

Very obvious pits and imperfections in shears
Very disappointed to find the brand new shears I bought have large pits and imperfections in the metal.I only hope that they don’t affect the longevity of these shears. My other shears no longer hold together and as a professional groomer, I can’t afford to wait to get another pair. I have dogs to groom tomorrow morning. It’s such a shame because they otherwise look and feel like they would work wonderfully. If these worked out I had planned to order thinners and straights so I would have a matching set but now I’m not so sure if I should risk it.Such a bummer. :(
