I rented this for a World Regional History class. Exactly the version my profession wanted us to get, book was rented to me in great condition; 10/10. Simple to return too. Super easy process for renting for school through Amazon that I 100% recommend!

I ordered this book for my Geo 115 class. It wasn’t required but so glad I got it. I’m only three weeks in and it has been super helpful in studying fir my tests.

Geography is more than where a place is on a map. This book is the social aspect and physical aspect of geography together. Great for anyone wanting to learn about the social aspects of geography and to learn how physical geography shapes cultures and diversity. Good for students.

Package doesn't include the online access code, which is really the only thing college students would be buying this for. Without the code, you can't do homework, unless you go and pay for the code (after paying $150 for an overpriced, "up-to-date" book).Most professors only use Pearson for that online access nonsense, so the fact that Pearson would be selling books without the code included is goofy, borderline a scam. There is NO reason to buy a new textbook.Wish I knew it didn't include the code, a revisit to this page, some reading through the "detailed" description (it shouldn't be hidden somewhere), I found that indeed, I had purchased the wrong "package".So, if you're not buying this book for fun, and buying it because your professor loves forcing you to pay hundreds of dollars for "up-to-date" books, go find the packaged deal elsewhere on Amazon, and avoid this one.Edit: As of now, purchasing the access code (no etext, no textbook, literally just for the code) you will be paying $41. You may want to avoid this listing if you like spending your money wisely.

I used this book for my regional geography class...it was in good condition and it was cheap renting it, rather than buying it new.

This is a great geography textbook. The way it is laid out makes it very easy to navigate. The sections encompass a lot of information and it is very interesting. I like that the book is updated so often, as it allows current events to be included.

A wealth of information, a lot to take in, but organized well.

Textbook is whatever but I died inside spending money on it and that is why it gets 1 star.
