A very distinctive lunch bag
This is a very nice and distinctive lunch bag for young children. I picked the space one named 'multi-colour' in the listing. The colours are stunning. My 2 year old will start pre school in September and will have lunch 5 days a week. Plus, now we can do proper picnics. Before, I had to buy a (pricey) takeaway on any outings as I don't drive and the bus takes over an hour to come in our town. Feature wise I love the front pocket, it fits cutleries (children and adults ones). I am very impressed with the thick insulated paddings. As a chef that was my main worry : is it going to keep food cold/hot all morning. I'm personally not keen on the inside elastic for the drinks. I'd much rather have one on the outside because I'm using a Yumbox. I rarely do sandwiches for my son. So I'm left with very little space for a juice carton (which I do not give him as there are made of concentrates and that's pretty disgusting) and a snack (which the preschool don't really allow - the processed ones). However, there is room for a slim ice pack (or two) which is great. However, there's nothing to hold it ! Where's the straps to close that pocket ? I can see myself having to replace them several times a year with the little munchkin. My two year old love it, he's been practising opening/closing it. He find it difficult and me too honestly. The zip is strong and I'm happy with that ! Really needed when it comes to children. Another must have which I don't see is a name tag. There's plenty of space to add one ! I don't really like those 'stick in school labels' neither having to sharpie my son's name everywhere. Also, the handle is just right for my son, a little tight for myself. My question is why not add a (removable) shoulder strap for us parents to carry ? Overall, I am hoping to keep this one for the next couples of year. I'd love to shop the matching backpack too but will have to save for now. As you can see this is a higher end product. I'd not worry about our British shower rain either, very nice fabric. Not waterproof though. A lot of parent opt for tacky cheap character lunch bag which end up stinking, with broken zip and inner material. I understand why, but I truly believe that those parents are not really making a true 'bargain'. I'll update my review as the months pass and will in the meantime probably start saving for a matching backpack.UPDATE : It washes absolutely fine in a quick 30 degrees (or even cold) setting with a 800 spin. It will be damp once out but dry faily quickly. No need to tumble dry. The colours remain intact. So this is something you can consider doing every day if needed. I personnaly do wipe it down after each use. However, food such as yogurt for example will get stuck through the stitchings and elastic band.

could be a bit larger
I suppose, since this lunchbox has done service for two whole years at school, transported there and back on the floor of a car where it probably gets kicked, it's not so bad. We're binning it finally because it STINKS! I put it through the washing machine every so often and always rinse out but it's accumulated a really unpleasant smell. The seams are also straining and starting to split, but I've really tested it to destruction so maybe that's unfair. My main beef is that it's too small unless your child eats the standard sandwich+apple+carton juice+crisps. If they prefer little tubs of various things you'll struggle to fit them all in, plus drinks bottle. We use the small size Sistema bottle and about five of the smallest clip-top food tubs you can get, plus a small zip lock of popcorn and some pea crisps - yes it fits, but only just, and I play Tetris every morning. So I'm now on the look out for a larger insulated box that will fit all his little tubs but still have a child-pleasing design.

Great quality, excellent design, perfect for a kid's lunches
Perfect size for a kid's lunchbox, water (but only if you have a small bottle) and small ice pack. Love the design. Fits nicely into my bike basket. Good strong zip that doesn't catch. Good strong handle. Quality design. My son gets it massively grubby inside (no idea how!), and I just wipe clean with a sponge. Dries overnight. Super easy cleaning. I'd definitely buy again.

Fit for purpose!
Lovely lunchbox with space for sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit and a water bottle. There’s some seams inside which need cleaning carefully otherwise they’ll trap crumbs-nothing major. The light colouring means it can get grubby on the outside but that’s to be expected. Overall it’s big enough, durable and a lovely design.

Very happy 3 year old
We already have a Wildkin backpack which has been great so when we needed a lunch box I knew where to look. So far this has been exactly what we wanted, good size, good zip, good quality. It's easy to clean and as usual with Wildkin the design is bold and colourful. I'm sure I will keep coming back to this company.
