Mini Christmas Moss Mesh Pad - Vesicularia sp. Live Aquarium Plant by SoShrimp

My Mini Christmas Moss arrived earlier than expected, neatly packed in a ziplock baggy within a bubble envelope. The moss is dark green and appears very healthy. The leaves are tiny and the stems branch at angles you would expect from a xmas moss, so I'm not worried about authenticity. The outside edges of the moss pad are glued to a thin stainless steel mesh, which matches the dimensions described by the seller. It is densely grown but flat, possibly due to shipping, and is between 1/4 and 1/2" tall. My goal is to get a moss carpet going, so I cut the mesh into 4 pieces, sewed the moss onto the mesh (since only the perimeter had been glued), and spaced the pieces out across the floor of my 5g tank. Hopefully I'll have a nice carpet in a few months. I would definitely buy this product again.

Never tried putting this plant in with my fish before... hope it survives them. The plant seems a little yellow, but mostly green and healthy. A few small buds on it. Packaging was perfect and did not leak. The bubble wrap was a pain to open lol. If my fish don't tear it apart, I think I will get more later for my fifty five gallon tank. Ps I have a keen sense of smell and this plant has a very pleasant odor, kind of sweet with a slight hint of pine.

Ordered 2 pads of the moss at the same time, both arrived relativly quickly in the same package.One is dark green and very healthly looking, the other is a little paler with a patch here and there, but thats to be expected after shipping. they are both in the tank now and well see how well they liven up.EDIT i removed two stars, the second mat has completly died while the first (both arrived in the same package) is as healthy as ever. would give 3.5 stars if possible due to the quick shipping and 1 healthy one.

Arrived alive, green, and looking exactly like the product picture. With the packaging the moss was cool to the touch but seemed well insulated against the elements. There were some very tiny ramshorn snails on it, but that warning was in the product description. I treated the moss with an Alum Dip and have it quarantined for now in case there are any viable eggs hidden as Alum doesn't guarantee the killing of the eggs (although it can). I look forward to adding this to my planted aquarium!

Arrived on time, double sealed & a padded envelope without leaks or damage. Moss was green, dense, slightly flat (from shipping) & attached well to the mesh. Within hours of putting it in my tank, it perked up & my fish and shrimp were happy to enjoy it. It has continued to fluff up & I suspect it will only do more. Great purchase.

Arrived on time and in great condition. I actually couldn't get to the mailbox that night and it was below freezing temps! When I got to the mailbox I was expecting a frozen piece of swamp meat, but nope a very cold but heathy moss pad. Anyway, I took it off the steel mesh and I tied to drift wood. Very happy, great seller.Update (2 mths later)- see last pictures, growing great

Arrived healthy and green. I wrapped the moss mesh around a piece of driftwood in my aquarium tank. Within a week it turned brown... I was going to through it out, but glad that I didn't. Now new, green moss is starting to grow. There may be hope for it after all.
