Confectionery company Ferrero has sought to expand its business in India by launching Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy as part of its Kinder portfolio. Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy is the second product to be sold in India under the children's brand, manufactured at Ferrero's production facility in Pune. The product - a bite sized, oval shaped treat with a center of milk and cocoa, and a milk chocolate-coated wafer biscuit shell - is positioned as a family consumption treat and the multi-praline pack will make it ideal for sharing, Ferrero said. The packs contain convenient single-portion pralines wrapped in a candy shape that can be opened with a tear band, ensuring optimum hygiene and taste. Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy will be available in both "traditional and modern trade outlets" across key Indian cities, available in four-count and nine-count formats. A Ferrero India spokesperson said: "Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy has been designed as a family treat and is targeted to create moments of togetherness between families and friends across age groups. It brings out values of caring, sharing, fun and togetherness. We are positive that the brand will be loved and enjoyed by our consumers across India." {NOTE: Please note that the item is Indian manufacturer product and packaging may also differ from other country packaging.}
