Bought for a snail
My daughter wanted a pet snail 🙄 so we've borrowed one from the garden and he's living the life of luxury in here for a few days while we observe him. Filled it with compost, a basil plant and a plant pot for him to hide in. The little tank does it's job, however as it's quite heavy with my compost in, I wouldn't trust the handles to hold the weight as they seem quite flimsy. I like the little door on top which allowes me easy access to mist his enclosure with water and add some salad vegetables for his dinner.

not so happy
i bought two of these this week. i did also buy an exo terra one that i sent back after seeing this one perform better for my sister who keeps a grasshopper. i bought another for my snails and though the plastic is very sturdy and the ventilation in the lids is super sturdy too, however my terrarium came somehow worse than my sisters. not only did it come with a sticker which was INCREDIBLY difficult to take off, the lid also barely stays on. half the time when i try to pick up the terrarium the lid pops off. taking the sticker off alsp was so difficult i’ve never seen a sticker like that, ended up scratching it all up with a sponge. my sisters didn’t have a sticker. fail to see why it was necessary. sort of satisfied i guess. however if you want a bigger terrarium for less money and no silly stickers, exo terra would be a better fit.

Be Careful with the Lid
Others have mentioned this, but I'd like to emphasise this too. The lid has clamps at the side, which need to be pulled out before you push it down to lock it down. At first, I didn't realise it wasn't properly shut and nearly lost the contents (isopods and substrate). Once you get that right, it's great and you can slide the smaller lid in the top for spraying and popping extra food in. and of course, it's easy to carry. Very well designed and sturdy.I definitely recommend these.

Good for its purpose
Excellent to use for my bearded dragons live food, much cheaper than the branded ones. I like how the lid has a hatch that’s lockable. Plenty of air flow and height. May be suitable to use for transporting a hamster, or insect pet of similar size, but too small for anything else

Lid needs a more secure fit
Perfect for what I needed it for. I only didn’t give 5 stars because the lid doesn’t clip on well enough for me to risk carrying it by the handle when my geckos are in it.The top hatch is really useful and secure, although it did take me longer than I care to admit to figure out how to open it! (You just slide it and lift it up)
